Lead-Free Flux Cored Solder

Environmentally Friendly Technology is the Key

Senju Metal Industry is keenly aware of its social responsibility to help protect the global environment. We
contribute to society by continuously offering products that create new values in the form of our ECO SOLDER
products. Not only do we actively work to eliminate harmful lead, we also incorporate innovation for key
environmental measures such as smart grids. We contribute to the realization of new high-density mounting
techniques using next-generation solder materials, including narrow pitches, MEMS, 3D mounting methods, and
low melting points, as well as the development of high-quality/low-cost materials. Our Smart Connection meets
a broad range of industry needs, to enable an intelligent connection to the future.
Background
Ever since 1955 when we introduced the first flux cored solder made
in Japan under the brand name "Sparkle Solder", we have continued
to develop a number of flux cored solders with various alloys for a
wide range of applications. This has contributed significantly to
progress in the electronics and automotive sectors as well as in other
areas of the industry. Now that lead-free solder has become dominant,
we are continuously working on improving wettability, splatter
behavior, and other characteristics to develop next-generation flux
cored solder products that anticipate the needs of our customers.
