Duties and Responsibilities:

 Worked in HSAW, LSAW & ERW Plant in different orders at Welspun, Anjar location.
 Inspection of incoming coils for raw material inspection as per applicable standard.
 Inspection of pipes as per API & IS standard.
 Carrying out inspection according to NDT Procedures and review of reports.
 Handling Automatic Ultrasonic testing Machines e.g.
GE Inspection Technologies-Germany (SNUP-LO/OFF).
 All type of Manual Ultrasonic Testing (MUT) of Plate & Weld.
 Handling Real Time Radiography (RTR) Machine GE Inspection Technologies-Isovolt TITAN 225.
 Interpretation of X-Ray films.
 Calibration of NDT Instruments.
 Review and take decision regarding Radiographic Testing (RT) repairs & Ultrasonic Testing (UT)
repairs.
 Magnetic particle test (Coil & Yoke method).
 Spare management & Manpower handling.
 Ensure Quality Management System (QMS) compliance while carryout all quality control activities
under TPI-s and demonstrate same to clients during assessment audits.
  Got opportunity to work with top Line pipe Engineers from Engineers India Ltd during the execution
of a major pipe line manufactured by Welspun Corp for GAIL.

 Perform Ultrasonic Test of castings, forgings, weld joints and steel plates for flaw detection.
 Perform Ultrasonic Thickness test of pipelines &vessels to inspect for corrosion.
 Inspect product using Dye penetrant and Magnetic particle NDT methodology.
 Perform Radiographic testing of welds (plates and pipes), castings, pipe walls etc. and
Evaluation of radiographic films.
 Perform Hardness test.
 Document test results and provide clients with detailed reports summarizing findings.

 B.Tech Final Year Projects

1. Major Project – Modified Atmosphere Packaging

This project uses MAP technology to ensure that packaged food products stay fresh and
attractive for as long as possible. Thus aims to reduce food wastages.
A prototype is made to create modified atmospheric pressure for preservation and
packaging of fruits, vegetables and seafood. The prototype consists of a glass chamber, an air blower, a
heat sealing machine, a pair of industrial gloves, sealing polythene and a food product. The modified
atmosphere is achieved by creating vacuum abd replacing it with bio noble gas like nitrogen and carbon
dioxide.
2. Mini Project– Energy Production Using Piezoelectric Effect
The aim of this project is to build a system that can generate power from that energy which was previously
used to get lost.It uses piezoelectric materials which captures the vibration energy and converts it into
usable electrical energy.This system can be used to charge any gadget which supports rechargeable
battery. It is not confined to only mobile phones.

 Internship project at HAL, Koraput – Gear Design and Manufacturing

This project is a study of the technology and manufacturing process followed for aircraftgear
manufacturing at Hindustan Aeronautics Ltd.
It includes Gear design criteria and selection of material, various types of forming and machining
processes followedHeat-treatment methods and Inspection techniques used in gear manufacturing.

 Diploma final year project – Vapour Compression Refrigeration System

This Heat Engine takes out heat from a cold body and delivers to a hot body. The heat carrying medium
(refrigerant) used in this system is R-134 which is a environmental friendly refrigerant.We have assembled
all the parts of the refrigerator & detected and corrected some common problems during operation.
