PROPOSAL
Human Resource Management For Professionals
A Comprehensive Training Proposal by JS Consultancy Sdn. Bhd.

introduction
Organizations need employees to achieve organization's goals. To be effective they need to be
motivated with the right Human Resources Management (HRM) Systems. This course seeks to
empower the line of management with the necessary knowledge and skills to do just that.
The course focuses on the core aspects of HRM functions in an organization. The core topics covered are:
Principles and functions of HRM; employment; compensation and benefit; training and development,
performance appraisals and employee relations.

Course objective
After attending this 3 days course, the participants will be able to apply their knowledge to
perform Human Resource functions effectively thus assuring the enhancement of people value of
the organization.

COURSE DETAILS
C.1 The Basic Information
The Human Resource Management for Professionals is a 3-day program and is
designed for professionals who wants to develop their skills and confidence in human
resource matters, in both unionized and non-unionized workplaces. It is normally held
at a prestige hotel in Kuala Lumpur area and we do offer in-house training.
C.2 The Training Methodology
The participants will receive notes and will interact with those notes during the course.
However, our main approach to this course is facilitative and interactive. We also use
a number of training tools, including videos, games, projects, case studies & thought-
provoking templates, to enhance learning. Course outlines for the programs can be
found in Appendix 1. We have also included the sample of course materials in
Appendix 2.

C.3 Physical Arrangement
Roundtables are popular in trainings because based on the available number of tables,
the size of tables and number of participant can be seated together. This layout allows
smaller groups and more effective discussions and interactions among the groups.
Five to six chairs at each table creates a comfortable table grouping. Layout for the
program can be found in Appendix 3.

We will set up registration table, display and exhibits tables and refreshment as well.
All the audio visual equipments will be tested before training and will be handled by
our expertise.
C.4 Number of Trainees
Limited between 25 – 30 trainees per session of training in order to ensure the effective
learning environment.

 RM1,288.00 per participant (Standard Fee)

RM1,088.00 per participant (Early Bird fee, register by Monday, January 4, 2010)

We also provide in-house training. This is a cost-effective approach if you have a number of people who
require training. You choose where and when you want our trainers to deliver. We will also tailor the course
content to suit your precise organization needs. To speak to an advisor about your particular requirements,

This proposal is valid for a period of 15 days.
 This price includes certificates for the participants.

The payment shall be made within 30 days of receiving the invoice. Cheques shall be made to 'JS
Consultancy Sdn Bhd'.

SHARIFAH SALEHA
Principal Consultant
Sharifah Saleha has more than 10 years experiences in Human Resource Management field. Sharifah was
a former Training Officer with Maybank for 4 years.
During her tenure with Maybank, she is fully in charged in designing the training curriculum for all level of
staff in Maybank and has conducted programmes such a Leadership, Teambuilding, Communication and
Supervisory. She is also a certified trainer for Interaction Management Programme and has attended many
courses related to human development training. She has a wide experiences in manpower planning,
sourcing and recruitment activities.
Sharifah is a certified trainer in Behavioral Interview Techniques training program. She has been
instrumental in coaching hiring managers in conducting screening and full-blown interview through the
training and personal coaching. She is also experience in international hiring and well verse with
Immigration requirements related for foreign hiring.
She holds an honor degree in Human Development from Unversiti Pertanian Malaysia and MBA
from USM. Currently she is pursuing for her doctorate,

NORITA DANKER
Principal Consultant
Norita has more than 12 years experiences in Human Resource Management field. She is leading the HRD
effort to support business partners to understand, influence improvements and optimize organizational
performance through individual, group and organizational development. She is also responsible for
diagnosis of organizational needs, presentation and implementation of HR programs in support of business
strategies and to ensures HR policies and practices are well implemented in order to promote staff retention
and minimize legal vulnerability. She is expected to role model values and assists in the development of an
effective HRD organization in her company. Norita also had been with Penang Seagate for 9 years. Her
last designation with Penang Seagate is as the Senior Manager Human Resources Development.
Her major focus is retention program and strategic recruitment strategies that is in line with the tight labour
market at that time. Norita is also responsible to manage HRD budget, developing employee career
roadmap, linking training need analysis to effective reward system and managing employee education loan
in Penang Seagate. She has conducted numerous training programs in HRM and organizational
development. She is part time lecturer in MIPMM (Malaysian Institute in Personnel management) for
diploma program. Norita has also been a Certified Trainer for Kepnor Tregoe Problem Solving and Decision
Making training modules.
She holds an honor degree in Human Resources Management from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia
and MBA from RMIT, Australia.
