Task 1.

There’s always much hype


about the winners, but the media never
talks about the unlucky athletes. So this
time, we will deal with those who came
home with no medals. Say what
happened to each of them. Start each
sentence with a word in the big circle.
Then find a suitable verb in the small
circle. Decide if you have to use the
passive or not.
