Preamble
Structured Development Life Cycle (SDLC) is a composite of several software cycle; each of its
cycle affixed with manifold parts and phases; magnified at the aim of testing and deploying
software. Any activity persistent therein; is conducted in disparate ways as per the statutory need.
Each of its wrought is known as a SDLC Model. All the Stages are superimposed into the
context of the blog development. Each stage is predicated on the twain of Descriptive and
Prescriptive. The epicenter of Descriptive delineates the basis of understanding, wherein any
improvement made is solely reified on Empirical data with the purpose of propounding as per
customer requirement. The model consists of five stages as further explicated hereunder:

Stage 1:
Collection of Data:
SDLC data collection is conventional, the methods attributed to it are of two types: Formal and
In-Formal. Formal in our case is the organized research, and data percolated through certain
guidelines. The data will be in consonance with the customer need as the ultimate exigency taken
in consideration. Thereby, Formal methods through Interview and forms, an informal can
imbibed the Survey gamut; with various customers, who tend to use the products, an in-sight
pertaining the need of website or the software. This may subsume all the requirements under the
purview of stipulation; choices, opinions and certain products of proclivity. And the desired
features like customer need of specific currency if taken for example is heeded thereunder.
Analysis:
Hereafter, all the requirement pertinent to info gathering is thoroughly analyzed by the
extrapolation. This will obliterate any subsisting ambiguity germane to Currency in Purchasing.
Thereafter a concoction of SRS (Software Requirement Specification), which must be reviewed
by customers and fathomed by developers for further reference. Both partisans must coincide, for
the information to be consecrated as Verified, and Feasible for further process of stages.
Loopholes:
Variegating loopholes can be descried herein; with modicum jotted down. Such discrepancies
may arise from top-management discord, Problems pertaining system architecture, whereby it
may converge all-the-requirements, or not up to the mark as per stipulation deemed customer
need. Poor model regarding its short-span and requirements at a moderate-to-high risk of
changing, presence of fierce risk and uncertainty. One of the imperative short-coming results
from it, is the non-presence of a working software until late life cycle. In accordance with the
blog the problems alter thereon; such as perforce required modern standards. For example,
inclusion of Social Media links, or a up to the mark indicators of latest prices changes and
promotion offering notification therein.
Possible Alternatives and Solution:

As of the adumbration the panaceas can be myriad; while the alternatives so far only are present
in the transmutation of model such V-Shaped Lifecycle, General Lifecycle or using the
phenom Waterfall Lifecycle which lugs its own Pros and Cons, however in this treatise;
The SLDC Model-2010 is brought to limelight. With morsel of solution cited hereunder:
1. Small Co-located teams, this bevy will succor in reduction of time and diversified
approach as a result arching plethora canvas of audience.
2. On-site customer will keep the developers vigilant of the morphing customer need under
usage expert report.
3. Fully-automated regression test will expunge the need for mechanical reply or customer
support for testing the data.
4. Experience developers cater to the imperative of up to the mark system; and keeping the
pace with market trends. (Ragunath et al. 2010)
While on other hand the perquisition for the Cost and Benefit analysis. The system per se
serves as an automated software.

Stage 2:
Design:
Design intended to be facile; Customer-friendly, with categories and product line and layout in
the cognizance of the layman. Enfeebling therewith; any ilk of ambiguity. For this purpose, SRS
will be used to cater the dire need thereof. A multi-language support, mobile-support,
compatibility with various Operating Systems (OS). The SRS will prove propitious in this
regard, as it will help in bridging the gap between Developers and Customers, along with the
provision of Customer Care, and Contact us Forum as an ancillary thereunder. Database is where
SLDC plays its salient role, with filtering crucial request and undertaking a large database
projects. Aforementioned, recommendation will hopefully impart a Customer-friendly and free-
of-hassle Graphical User Interface.

Stage 3:
Development:
From Tentative to antediluvian, the development process will be intermittent, as further reviews
and suggestion will be taken in high regard; customer preference will be the paramount.
Development will be unwavering, incremental changes will be made as per demand. For
instance, in Iterative and Waterfall Model changes will be miniature owing to nature of being
delicate and fierce propensity of disruption. Development also impacts the up time of website, a
stratagem to elude customer inconvenience should also be taken in mind therein.
