Philosophy of Teaching
I believe that as a teacher, I am morally obligated to enter my classroom with the highest of expectation
for each and every one of my students. Every classroom is unique, as is every child, and I work to assist
each child in developing reaching their own potential within their specific needs and learning styles. I
will incorporate hands on learning, cooperative learning, and individual work that engages and activates
student learning. And because every child and community is different and unique, I believe a classroom
should be a supportive and caring community where children are empowered to blossom and grow as
they work to meet their unique individual potential. I will use strategies to ensure of classroom
community will flourish like morning meeting, problem solving skills, social skills integration, and
culturally responsive classroom management.
