Series E400, E500, LFE400 and LFE500 Kitchen Faucets

Installation Instructions

Shut off hot and cold water supply under 1 sink. Plug sink drain with cloth to avoid losing small parts. Remove old faucet.

Place plastic plate on bottom of faucet 2 smooth side down. For models without spray, proceed to step 5.

Place spray hose guide in far right hole 3 of sink and attach washer and locknut from under sink.

Insert threaded end of spray hose down 4 through hose guide. Attach to faucet. Pass hose through center hole in sealing gasket and attach to center faucet outlet, tightening securely. Note: Use pipe joint compound or plumbers tape on this connection.

Set faucet in place on sink. From underneath 5 sink, put washers and lock nuts on finger tight. Position faucet on sink properly and tighten nuts with basin wrench or adjustable wrench.

Note: If faucet supply lines need to be bent, 6 grip tube at point of bend with right hand, firmly and slowly pull tube into position using rounded bend with left hand. Extreme care must be exercised. Follow instructions exactly.

Connect hot and cold water supplies. 7 Use pipe compound or plumbers tape when attaching faucet to water lines.

Turn on hot and cold water. Check for any 8 leaks, especially at connections to supply lines. Remove aerator from end of spout. Flush both water lines allowing water to run for one minute. Replace aerator.

Limited Warranty: Watts Regulator Co. (the Company) warrants each product to be free from defects in material and workmanship under normal usage for a period of one year from the date of original shipment. In the event of such defects within the warranty period, the Company will, at its option, replace or recondition the product without charge. This warranty shall be invalidated by any abuse, misuse, misapplication, improper installation or improper maintenance or alteration of the product. Some States do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, and some States do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages. Therefore the above limitations may not apply to you. This Limited Warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may have other rights that vary from State to State. You should consult applicable state laws to determine your rights. Instrucciones de Instalacin

Corte los suministros de agua caliente y fra debajo del fregadero. Tape el drenaje del fregadero con un trapo para evitar la prdida de piezas pequeas. Retire el grifo anterior.

Coloque el soporte plstico debajo del grifo con la cara lisa hacia abajo. Para los modelos sin rociador, proceda al paso 5.

Coloque la gua de la manguera rociadora en el orificio del extremo derecho del fregadero e instale la arandela y la contratuerca desde abajo del fregadero.

Introduzca el extremo roscado de la 4 manguera rociadora a travs de la gua de manguera. Instlelo al grifo. Pase la manguera a travs del orificio central del empaque de sello y conctela a la salida central del grifo, ajustando firmemente. Nota: Use compuesto para juntas de tubera o cinta de plomera en esta conexin.

Coloque el grifo en su posicin en el fregadero. 5 Desde abajo del fregadero, coloque las arandelas y contratuercas ajustadas a mano. Coloque el grifo en el fregadero y ajuste las tuercas con una llave para grifos o una llave inglesa.

Nota: Si se necesitan doblar las lneas de 6 suministro al grifo, sujete el tubo en el punto de doblez con la mano derecha y lenta y firmemente doble el tubo en forma circular con la mano izquierda. Se debe tener mucho cuidado. Siga las instrucciones exactamente.

Conecte los suministros de agua caliente y 7 fra. Use compuesto para tubera o cinta de plomera para conectar el grifo a las lneas de agua.

Abra el agua caliente y el agua fra. Revise si 8 hay fugas, especialmente en las conexiones a la lneas de suministro. Retire el aireador del extremo del cao. Deje correr ambas lneas de agua, permitiendo que el agua fluya durante un minuto. Instale de nuevo el aireador.

Instructions dinstallation

Couper lalimentation en eau froide et en eau 1 chaude sous lvier. Boucher le drain de lvier avec un chiffon pour viter de perdre de petites pices. Dposer lancien robinet.

Placer la plaque en plastique la base du 2 robinet avec le ct lisse en dessous. Pour les modles sans douchette, passer ltape 5.

Placer le guide de douchette dans le trou 3 lextrme droite de lvier et le fixer avec la rondelle dtanchit et le contre-crou en travaillant partir de dessous lvier.

Section pour robinet deux poignes.

Section pour dispositif robinet mitigeur.

Insrer lextrmit filete du tuyau de la 4 douchette dans le guide de douchette. Fixer au robinet. Faire passer le tuyau travers le trou central du joint dtanchit, fixer la sortie du robinet central et serrer fermement. Remarque : Utiliser de la pte pour tuyau ou du ruban de plombier sur ce raccord.

Placer le robinet sur lvier. En travaillant 5 partir de dessous lvier, placer les rondelles et les contre-crous et les serrer la main. Placer le robinet sur lvier et serrer les crous avec une cl robinet de monte ou une cl molette.

Remarque : Si la conduite du robinet doit tre 6 plie, saisir le tube au point de pliure de la main droite et tirer lentement et fermement lautre extrmit du tube de la main gauche. Faire preuve de prudence pendant le pliage. Suivre les instructions avec soin.

Brancher lalimentation en eau froide et en 7 eau chaude. Utiliser de la pte pour tuyau ou du ruban de plombier pour fixer le robinet aux conduites deau.

Ouvrir lalimentation en eau froide et en eau 8 chaude. Vrifier pour dtecter toute prsence de fuites, surtout au niveau des raccords des conduites dalimentation. Dposer larateur de lextrmit du bec. Purger les deux conduites dalimentation en laissant leau couler pendant une minute. Remettre en place larateur.
