Recruitment Process

 Once you have submitted your application through our online Application Form a
member of our Recruitment Team will review your details to determine your suitability
for this role.
 If you have not included the full application information that we require – we will
contact you to request all required details – these include:
- Your full Residential Address
- Telephone Number (preferably cell/mobile)
- 5 full years Employment History
- 5 full years Education History
- A copy of your English Resume/CV attached

 If deemed suitable you will receive a mail containing a Contractor Agreement, Search Waiver,
Q&A and Sample Personalized tasks. The email will outline the Terms & Conditions of the
Program and your acceptance of the Contractor Agreement and Terms & Conditions are
required before your application can progress. You will be asked to accept these conditions
through an Online Questionnaire which will be included in the email.
 Once you have accepted the terms of the Contractor Agreement and the Terms &
Conditions of the program you will be scheduled for the final part of the Recruitment
Process which is the Online Exam.

The Online Exam


 The exam is compiled weekly and study material will be emailed to you once the exam
is created. You then have 10 days to study this documentation and complete the exam.
 The exam consists of three sections: Section 1 – an “open book” type exam with 31
multiple choice questions, Section 2 – 7 practical questions to be completed using
both your desktop PC/Laptop and Smartphone Device on the quality of web pages
and Section 3 – 7 practical send to device questions to be completed using both your
desktop PC & Smartphone Device. More detailed information will be provided in the
study material. You must use both your PC and Smartphone Device for Parts 2 and 3
of the exam.
 You will then be notified automatically at end of the 10 days if you have passed or
failed the exam.
 Please use your time wisely - you will not be penalized for completing the exam before
the expiry date, but we would point out that speed is not key - accuracy is.
 Many candidates fail Section 1 – Theory, because they do not study the General
Guidelines document.
 A high speed internet connection is also required for this role.
 If you are unsuccessful in the exam, you may not be eligible to re-enter the exam at a
later stage.
Job Description

As a Personalized/Social Media Internet Assessor your ultimate goal will be to contribute


towards making internet search more exciting, relevant and interesting for all end users in
your country of residence. You will play a part in improving the quality of one of the
largest search engines in the world.

The internet has now become the powerhouse of all information, everything you need to
find or explore can be found on the internet, yet how can we be sure this information is
entirely up to date or relevant? This is where you can contribute.

We are looking for creative thinkers who enjoy browsing the web using both their
Smartphone device and their PC. The Ideal candidate should be someone who would like to
express their opinion on the quality and content of what is currently out there on the web.
You will be provided with a set of guidelines and scoring criteria on how best to evaluate all
internet search results.

We are currently seeking people who have a strong interest in Social Media, specifically
those with an active Gmail, and familiarity with other forms of social media and Google
products.

You will have the flexibility and freedom to work from your own home, working your own
hours, depending on availability of tasks (2-5 hours per week). Payment will be based on
completion of the agreed upon tasks or engagements within the specified time period.

This is a freelance, independent contractor position

Requirements:
 You must be fluent in both written and verbal English and your Native Language
 You must have access to and use of a specific Smartphone either an Android V4.1 or
higher OR an iPhone V4S or higher) to complete all tasks
 All tasks will require the use of a Smartphone device and your PC/Laptop
 You must actively use Gmail as your primary email account on a daily basis

 You must have familiarity with current and historical business, media, sport, news, social
media and cultural affairs in your native Country
 You must be resident in the desired country for the last 5 consecutive years for Cultural
and Historical awareness purposes.
 Familiarity with all other Google products
 Experience in use of web browsers to navigate and interact with a variety of content
 Preferred level of education/certification - Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent)
 Access to and use of a broadband internet connection and associated computer and
software to perform the work, all provided at your own expense
Important Notes

• Sharing of exam materials or answers in the exam is strictly prohibited.


• Our Rating Quality team constantly monitors the following:
- Sharing of material or answers (e.g. with other exam candidates or members of
Rating group)
- Completing the exam or work on another’s behalf
- IP Addresses
• You must use your own Smartphone device and Personal Computer/Laptop to
complete the online exam and if successful all work on this project thereafter.
• If you have worked on this Project in the past and your account has been
ceased/termed you must notify us when re-applying
• Unfortunately we are not in a position to accept applicants who are currently
working with Leapforce. To do so would result in a conflict of interest for
Lionbridge. We request that all applicants notify us if they have ever applied to
Leapforce or worked with Leapforce in the past. Failure to do so could result in
termination of your Independent Contractor Agreement with Lionbridge
• This is a freelance role and as an independent contractor it is essential that you are
registered as a self-employed person and payment of tax is your individual
responsibility. Lionbridge may request proof that you have paid tax – we will finalize
these details at a later stage
• Please be aware as this is a freelance role, from time to time there may be a
shortage of tasks available due to the nature of the work
• One of the requirements of this role is that you are fluent in both English and your
native language (written and verbal). If you are not fluent in either language you
will not be processed for this role.
• One of the requirements is that you are living in the desired Country. If at any time
you wish to move to another country to live/work or study then you will not be
eligible to continue working on the program
• Only one member per household can apply for this role. If you successfully pass the
online exam, your work on the program must be of an individual nature and
completed in private.
• Sharing of material or answers is strictly prohibited either during the exam or whilst
working on the program.
• Our Rating Quality team will be monitoring your work on a daily basis so it is
important that your work is of a high quality and standard and of an individual
nature.
• Please note you CANNOT use the same computer/IP Address as another user for
this role.
• IP addresses are logged and recorded as we need to be able to identify work on an
individual basis on the program.
The use of VPNs, Proxy Servers, IP Unblockers, Hosting Services or any software
that may route your internet traffic outside of your country of residence are
strictly prohibited throughout the application process, exam and when onboard
this program. Intentional use of these services whilst working on the program will
result in termination of your services agreement with the company and in non-
payment for services provided to protect the integrity of our customer’s data.
