The learner demonstrate understanding of how world literature and
other text types serve as way of expressing and resolving personal
conflicts, also how to use strategies linking textual information, repairing,
enhancing communication public speaking, emphasis markers in
persuasive texts, different forms modals, reflexive and intensive
pronouns.
The learner composes a short but powerful persuasive text using a
variety of persuasive technique.

The students will be asked:
1. What is Persuasive Essay?
2. What are the different parts of Persuasive Essay?
The teacher will inform the students about the learning objective of
today’s lesson.
The students will watch a video about different personality who
committed mistakes while delivering their speech.
The students will describe what happened on the video.
The will be asked of the proper behavior when someone commits
error while speaking in front of a crowd.
The students will be asked if what is the video all about
The teacher will inform the students about today’s topic.
The teacher will ask the students to define public speaking.
The teacher will then ask the students to read the definition after
students gave their answer.

Moving across:
The students will be asked to different situation where public
speaking can be used. (In business, medicine, financial wealth seminars,
etc.)
The students will be given the three types of Public speaking.
They will be asked to give examples for each type.
The students will be asked of what benefits public speaking could
give in their lives.
They will be given the possible benefits that public speaking could
give to one’s life.
The students will be asked again of the following:
1. What is Public Speaking
2. What are the types of Public speaking
Group Activity
The students will be given the topic, “What would you do to stop or
minimize the cases of bullying?”
The group will be presenting their answer on the topic depending on
the type of public speaking that they will be getting through drawing of
lots.
Each group will grade the performing group following the rubrics
below:
