TEMPORARY IMPORT BOND

INSTRUCTIONS

The shipment described on the following documentation was entered with U.S. Customs as a
Temporary Importation Bond (TIB). The goods are allowed to remain in the U.S. for one year. A TIB
must be cancelled upon exportation of the goods from the U.S.

• When the articles are scheduled to be exported from the U.S. instruct the carrier or consignee to
add the following statement to the northbound BOL:

TIB NUMBER: 300-7085629-9

ATTENTION DRIVER: BEFORE PROCEDING TO CANADA YOU MUST STOP AT U.S.

CUSTOMS TO PRESENT THE CUSTOMS FORM 3495 TO U.S. CUSTOMS FOR
INSPECTION AT THE PORT OF EXIT AND SIGNATURE ON 2 COPIES OF THE
CF3495.

• PLEASE ENSURE ONE COPY OF THE CF3495 SIGNED BY U.S. CUSTOMS IS

RETURNED TO LIVINGSTON INTL. INC. SO THAT THE TIB CAN BE CLOSED IN
COMPLIANCE.

NOTE: Goods on a TIB entry are allowed to remain in the U.S. for one year with two extensions available
with valid cause. Should you find that an extension is needed you must submit a request in writing stating
the reason why the goods cannot be exported within the first year. Livingston International must be
notified 1 week prior to expiration date to file for extension or receive signed copy of the CF3495 to
properly close the TIB.

**US Customs will issue a penalty if the TIB is not closed or extended timely before expiration date.
