It is certainly said that learning is a dynamic and forever lasting in nature.
Today, with the
development of technology, there are a lot of alternations to the ordinary classroom lecture method. Even though students can self-study via these technologies, I believe that being educated by a teacher is always beneficial and far better. In this essay, I will support my view point. On the one hand, we can see that teachers can modify their styles of teaching to particular situations which help students acquire knowledge easier and faster. For example, there are some slow take-in students who can not understand lesson in the class time but their facilitator would guide them according to their mental capacity. The instructor provides students with detailed explanations and a simple view on the lesson so that students gain a better understanding for each part. Besides, teachers would create conditions for excellent students in order to improve their outstanding talents by giving them in-depth research papers and high-level lessons, exercises. Through this method, good students can unleash potential and enhance their skills. When children go to a school or college they have there many teachers who help them study more difficult and complicated things. Personally, I think that young people need teachers because in most cases they basically do not understand yet the importance of learning some "uninteresting things" such as logic, literature, grammatics, etc. So, teachers keep children on track and sometimes make them learn. I think, at adolescence young people need teachers because they help them develop and improve themselves in order to succeed in life. On the other hand, some people in favor of self-learning that when people learn by themselves, it becomes more flexible and the brain catches it more efficiently. They can attend online classes by using Internet and learning anywhere as long as that place can connect Internet. Moreover, they also find the information they need through the vast knowledge store on the Internet thanks to search engines like Google. However, self-study requires persistence and high self-awareness. In addition, the students have also struggled to find the right knowledge in hundreds of turbulent information online. In conclusion, I would like to say that teachers’ role is mandatory in learning. The teachers with their good knowledge, experience and education would help students acquire knowledge and enhance skills more quickly than self-learning. In the foreseeable future, though technological gadgets will have a bigger role in education, the greatness of teacher in educating people will never vanish.
