How to make SSV Report

Before make report, reporter must know Drive test of SSV.

There are four task perform in SSV

1. TRX test
2. Packet test
3. Intra cell handovers
4. Inter site handovers

Reporter must know how to used the tool for reporting like mapinfo, TEMS invertigation, snagit

All operators having different SSV report format. Right now CCS doing TP project ( Telenor
SWAP Project )

Reporter must be familiar TP report format. There are following step performed

 On first page write city name, Site name and the date which SSV have perform
 After some pages table is exist. Which require info about the sites

That info collects from Site Data sheet

 OMC DATA.
This type of data collects from tems log file. This data also collect form site data sheet
but some time it do not correct. For good reporter you must play the log file and get
BCCH. Cl, LAC, RAC

TRX quantity is given by TP (OMCR) Sheet

 Next step, to calculate the Upload and download mean. This information gets form tems
software and generates report. First open the tems worksheet, go to logfile menu and
click report generation option, a new window will open.

Click Add button to add log file which do you require whether upload or download.

Note :- For one sector only one log used to make report (uploading or downloading)

Click on properties button to add RLC THROUGHPUT DL for Downloading and RLC

THROUGHPUT UL for Uploading. After report generation you will get mean of uploading

and downloading. Add their value in report.

 RXLevel and RXQual is the main task which you have performed. RXLevel and RXQual
plot get form Coverage log file and make export these log file.

Open tems worksheet click logfile menu and click export, new window will appear, click
add button again new window will appear. See the picture

First option is format select MAPINFO TAB-FILE and click setup. If you do not select the
format option and click setup no info will display relevant for requirement. If you done
properly new will appear like this
Available IEs :- select GSM and in down option Select RXLevel sub(dbm), RXQual and Cell
Id same like on above pictures. Click OK button and this window will vanish. On back
window select option browse log file for loading log file which you want an export.
Select merge option, given destination address and type prefix for Export name and ok
Now tem start to make an export

The export tab file will open in Mapinfo tool. Open it and load site tab file.
In Mapinfo software, there is too much option available in main menu. First click map
option and click create thematic map or just simply press F9 key. After that I will guide
you through pictures : -
In field option, there are three options available RXLevel, RXQual and Cell ID. Why only shows
these option because before you made export select only that three option

Arrange RXLevel values. Method option you must select Custom option otherwise you cannot
edit the values
In styles option you select color combination. For example best RXLevel select hard green color
and for bad RXlevel select red color.

In legend option, change tile name like picture.

Apply legend in mapinfo. First click on tools option in main menu, click thematic legend
manager and click embed thematic legend; legend will be show on mapinfo window.
In RXQual, same process apply as I explained in RXLevel

In Cell ID option, Also same process as I discuss before but only one difference is that, at apply
thematic you select individual option not in ranges option. See on picture
