Hello Our Community Listens Alumni,

We have heard your feedback and are thrilled to announce that we are offering
our first Our Community Listens class focused on marriage!
It will take place the weekend of October 25-27 in beautiful Traverse City.
Space is very limited, and we can only accept 18 couples in this inaugural
session. Don’t wait, tell your friends and family to register today – register!
This class is open to anyone who has not already experienced our three-day
communications skills training and all elements will be tailored towards
marriage.
What’s the same?
• Same communication skills training class modules and content
• Two classes running simultaneously. Spouses will still be in separate classrooms
(in the same building)
What’s been added or tailored?
• Continuous Learning (CL) Sessions: For us to measure how this format meets the
needs of participants and helps build healthy communication in marriage, we
do ask that you and your spouse agree to complete 4 CL sessions (in-person or
webinars) within 12 months of the class. All CL sessions focus on and dive deep
into communication and how to apply the skills learned in your marriage.
Including, but not limited to:
• The role communication plays in marriages.
• Importance of trust and the role it plays.
• All examples and scenarios in class focus on marriage.
• Homework assignments will be geared towards marriage.
Just the two of us!
• Beautiful setting on the water in Downtown Traverse City. The conference will
be held at West Bay Beach Resort.
• Weekend class - no need to take 3 days off work. Just grab your partner and
head to Traverse City for a mini-getaway.
• Evenings will be free to explore the area, shop, get dinner with your spouse,
practice your new skills and reconnect.
How much does it cost?
• Well, a healthy marriage is priceless, but this inaugural pilot class experience is a
fully funded opportunity for a lucky few couples! This opportunity won’t last
long!!
• You are responsible for your lodging at West Bay Beach Resort, which is within
walking distance of many restaurants and shops. The resort is providing a
discounted rate of $189.95/night. Staying at the same hotel that the conference
is being held means you get to sleep in. ;-)
 • Plus, dinner each night would be on your own, at your expense.
