(PFC) Prefrontal Cortex is a part of the brain that helps us make decisions. -Daniel Amen M.D. Clinic
PFC is responsible for a variety of complex behaviors, including planning, and greatly contributes to
personality development. In people who are having difficulty making good decisions, there may be a
cause or effect to the actual structure of the PFC in the brain.
Breathing, and proper oxygen has been helpful in healing the PFC.

Cerebellum
(CCD) Crossed Cerebellar Diaschisis is explained in the diagram above, wherein the function of the right
prefrontal cortex, is associated with the function or health of the left cerebellum, and the left prefrontal

The Cingulate Gyrus is a part of the brain in the center of the cerebral hemisphere. It forms a major part
of the limbic system which has functions in emotion and behavior. The cingulate gyrus adapts functions
in memory, thought shifting, emotional regulations, and analyzing problems or differences.
If you suffer from anxiety, trauma, depression, your cingulate gyrus is having difficulty with
worries, obsessions, getting stuck on certain thoughts; you may hold grudges and be
argumentative. The cingulate gyrus functions in cognitive flexibility.
Your therapist may find it helpful to lighten your mood with reverse psychology, or
paradoxical intention. They might instruct you to do/not do something that you
normally find a difficult task. You may even laugh at the thought of these actions. As
you follow these instructions, you may become more aware of your actions, and find
improvement. You may also develop further insight into cognitions and behaviors.
Neurotherapy: Therapeutic interventions that may involve a medical Rx, nutritional supplement, brain
scanning, cognitive and behavioral counseling, relaxation techniques….all aimed at improving both your
brain and mental-health functioning for a better life.
No one is without change potential, when there are people who can
and will help.
