Darien Lake theme park

adds state’s tallest thrill ride
Six Flags Darien Lake is
going to new heights this
summer.
The park, which already
has the state’s tallest roller
coaster, is adding the state’s
tallest thrill ride to its
arsenal. The Six Flags Sky-
screamer, a spinning swings
ride, will tower above the
park at 242 feet in height,
or 34 feet taller than the
Ride of Steel roller coaster.
“It’s the sheer magni-
tude of the ride, being the
highest structure at Darien
Lake,” Six Flags Darien
