CT STUDY OF HEAD

Infratentorial

 Cerebellopontine angle and prepontine cisterns are seen normally.

 Fourth ventricle is normal in size and midline in location.

 Cerebellar parenchyma and brain stem appears to be normal.

Supratentorial

 Hyperdense area of blood density is seen in left deep frontal region.

 Minimal hyperdensity is seen in left lateral ventricle .

 Basal cisterns are seen normally.

 Third and right lateral ventricles are seen normally.

 No midline shift is seen.

Bony architecture

 Fractures floor of left orbit and walls of left maxillary sinus are
seen with soft tissue swelling around left orbit with air pockets.

OPINION:

 FRACTURES AS DESCRIBED WITH DEEP HEMORRHAGIC CONTUSIONS WITH MINIMAL

INTRAVENTRICULAR BLEED WITH SOFT TISSUE SWELLING.

Clinical correlation is necessary.
