Title of the Project: A study on Supply Chain Practices of Rico Auto Industries

Statement of the problem: The study mainly focuses on current supply chain management methods and
supply chain management concepts to improve logistical performance and their
present application in automobile companies especially in Rico Auto. In the
scientific instrument industry today, customers are in control more than ever
before. The supply chain of automobile companies has great significance in
managing the sales of a company. The main focus of the study is to analyze the
comparative analysis of supply chain strategies In Rico Auto Industries. Rico Auto
products are sold and serviced through a network of authorized dealers and
service centers across the domestic market, and a network of distributors and
local dealers in international markets.

Explanation of the Method: Research Design - This is an exploratory research will be based on case study
method, analyzed for Rico Auto Industries . Primary Research Methods In order
to gather information about manufacturers perceptions, attitudes and decision
process, use of a questionnaire seems the best possible option. Questionnaires
will be focused on representatives of manufacturers and dealers. Secondary
Research Secondary data will be internal (such as company reports, brochures,
etc.) and external (such as government reports, trade publications, books,
journals, business magazines and websites).
