1. Introduction
This document provides user with the guidelines to use “Urdu Web Page Reader”
application. This application allows user to enable Web Page Reader toolbar and listen to
Urdu Web page.

2. Running the Application

Install the application using “Urdu Web Page - Installation Guide” available at: “Urdu
Web Page\Docs\Guides”. After successful installation of the program, follow the steps
given below to run the application:

1. Launch the Internet Explorer by clicking the icon “Internet Explorer” placed on the desktop
as shown in Figure 2.1(a).

2. This would launch the Internet Explorer application as shown in Figure 2.2.

3. Open any Urdu web page by typing the URL in the Address Bar or by just clicking a hyperlink
as shown in Figure 2.2

4. If Urdu Web Page Reader toolbar is not visible, then enable it from View->Toolbar->Urdu
Web Page Reader as illustrated in Figure 2.3

5. Click on the button on Urdu Web Page Reader toolbar to start the application and
thus listen to the urdu text in the web page as shown in Figure 2.4

6. In order to pause the speech being generated click button on the toolbar, as shown in
Figure 2.5.

7. To resume click button. This would resume the application from where it was paused.

8. To stop listening to the web page, click the button as illustrated in Figure 2.6.

9. In order to listen to web page again from the start click .
