NOTE : To have an automatic summer- and wintertime change EVERY year, happening on the last
Sunday of a specific month, programme as follows :
The scheme on the following page gives an overview of some popular dates.
To change quickly the hour displayed, without selecting step 13, do as follows (while being in normal
mode) :
To increment the time displayed by 1 hour (D.L.S. start or summertime start), keep the "Yes"-key
pressed while sliding the program switch to program mode.
To decrement the time displayed by 1 hour (D.L.S. end or wintertime start), keep the "No"-key
pressed while switching to program mode.
CAUTION : When changing in this way, only the time displayed will change, NOT THE DATE
Hereby, you can change to a card type which is not the initial card type preset for your time
recorder model.
-CP- 3000 : card type 18; clipper card (See page 34)
If your time recorder is a CP-3200 or a CP-3300 series one, you can select whether to use it
as a consecutive or a non-consecutive one. The consecutive type will print a black block-
mark by means of which it can detect a previous imprint.
By doing so overprinting will be avoided automatically.
0 : non-consecutive
1 : consecutive
PROGRAMMABLE CARD
If you can not find the 'same' time card as yours, also a non-standard card can be
programmed, card type 19.
For the CP-3300 series this will be card number 8.
If you want to change the card type, refer to the next pages.
Apart from the range of standard time cards (refer to pages 32-34), also a non standard time card
can be used.
Choose the card type No. from No. 1 to 18 (refer to pages 32-34) whose characteristics (such as the
way of printing time & date, card type,...) match most with the time card you want to program.
So if you want to use e.g. a weekly time card, across the-card type, be sure that your "NEAREST"
card has the same characteristics. In this example you can select from the card types 1 to 3.
To get an overview of the standard (so "NEAREST") cards, refer to the LIST of CARD TYPES.
Refer to pages 32-34.
The range of standard time cards for each model is, for:
- CP-3000 18 and 19 (programmable card)
- CP-3200 1-17 and 19 (programmable card)
- CP-3300 1-7 and 8 (programmable card)
Following RESTRICTIONS have to be kept in mind if you want to set your 'own' time card: (Refer to
the scheme on next page)
- The width of your card should be within the range of 66-107 mm
- The card thickness should be within 0.2 - 0.5 mm
- The centre of the top imprint position should be at least 53 mm lower than the upper card edge
- The bottom margin should be at least 10 mm
- The consecutive models compare the background colour and material of the time card with the
printed black block, used to prevent overprinting. If this contrast is not large enough,
there is a possibility of bad functioning of your time recorder.
In that case, please contact your local dealer for advise.
- No pre-printing is allowed in the area of 5.5 - 8 mm from the bottom edge of your time card,
when you want to use a consecutive model and a down/up card (card types 10-18 or 4-7 for
CP-3300)
In case of such a time card and model, the time recorder checks the above mentioned contrast,
within this specified area.If your time card has some pre-printing in that area, please contact your
local dealer for advise.
Unit of measurement: mm
(2) Only selectable when you use a down/up time card. (Refer to the list of time cards for every
model)
(3) In case you use the CP-3300 as a consecutive model, please refer to the CP-3200(consecutive)
If you use it as a non-consecutive model, refer to the CP-3200(non-consecutive)
Depending on the selected column pitch width, the imprint varies as follows :
Legend dd = date/day
HH = hour imprint (normal 2 digits)
hh = hour imprint (90° rotated)
MM = minutes imprint (2-digit;60-th,100A,100B type)
M = minutes imprint (10-th type)
0000 = 4-digit index (CP-3300)
B = black block imprint

To get a clear overview of the parameters of "your" card, the following scheme can be used:
Remark : These parameters will not be printed out when you do a Program Printout
(Refer to page 31).
STEP 32
Program the date (day) printed on print position 1 of your time card. You can program either by date (for
the monthly card types) or by day number (for weekly & bi-weekly card types).
e.g. If you want the fifth of every month printed on line 1 of your time card, select
"05".
e.g. If you want every Wednesday printed on line 1 or column 1 of your card,
select "03".
e.g. * If today is a Thursday and you want to print today on line 1 or in column 1 of
the first week of your time card, select "04".
CAUTION : Bi-weekly card types : when you change the date, the time recorder will reset its pay
period. This means that you will always print, after changing, into the block used, before
the date was changed. Therefore check your imprint position and change if necessary.
STEP 33 This step will only appear when you select an appropriate card
with this function. Refer to page 32-34.
- For CP-3200 ; card type 7, 14 or 15.
- For CP-3300 ; card type 3 or 6.
Here you can either specify the line or column of your time card, you want to skip (01-32)
For all card types this blank space is preset to "1".
Card type 7 (15/16 lifts, 2 sides) Card type 14 (16 lines down/up the card)
STEP 53 Your time recorder provides a possibility to select manually the IN/OUT print position
3. Column/line change time. This is the time you want to change from one print position to
another one.
5. Index Change ; only available on CP - 3300. For the other models this step is
disabled.
