I. COURSE DESCRIPTION
Physical Education and Health offers experiential learning for learners to adopt
an active life for fitness and lifelong health. The Knowledge, skills and understanding
which include physical and health literacy competencies support them in accessing,
synthesizing and evaluating information; making informed decisions. Enhancing and
advocating their own as well as other’s fitness and health.
II. STANDARDS
Learning Area Standard
Learners are able to set goals for fitness, monitor one’s participation
health physical fitness through dancing and recreational activities constantly
evaluate how well one has integrated this into one’s personal lifestyle.
Key Stage Standard
The learners must be able to developed awareness of their physical
health and assess one’s fitness level by involving in the different physical activities.
Grade-Level Standard
At the end of this first trimester, learners must be able to appreciate the
value of physical education by immerging themselves actively in different
physical activities.
