Episode WHAT LIES AHEAD?

MY LEARNING EPISODE REVIEW

My first episode will explain the expectations of my Teacher Education


institution Philippine Best Training System Colleges, Inc. and my Cooperating
School Vicente Madrigal National High School. This will allow me to better
understand the do’s and don’t’s of teaching in the real workplace. The
orientation conducted by my practicum supervisor and the cooperating
principal will ensure my success as a student intern.

MY TARGETS (LEARNING OUTCOMES)

At the end of this activity, I will be able to:

 analyze the expectations of my cooperating school and that of my


teacher education institution.

 reflect on the things I need to do to become a successful student


intern.

 follow all the policies and procedures of my cooperating school.

 accomplish the matrix of expectations

 write my responsibilities as a student intern

To get to know my cooperating school better, I must do the following;

Read the vision, mission, goals and core values of the school.

Attend the orientation session with my practicum supervisor and cooperating


principal.

Record important notes during the orientation.

Ask questions, if necessary.

Accomplish the Learning Episode.


MY BIG IDES (LEARNING ESSENTIALS)

As a student intern, I need to know the following terms to fully understand


my learning.

ORIENTATION:

The Principal told us to be cooperative to the tteachers. He told us that


we should work on the task that the techer give to us. After the principal
orient us, the subject head give us to our respective Cooperating Teacher.
After we meet our cooperating teacher, she told me some strategies that
can be used in teaching our student. But before that she just told me to
observe her first, and take down notes what I see on the teaching learning
process.

EXPECTATIONS:

the school personnel expected what they told us, what they say when
on the orientation. And of course to work well on the field.

 Orientation is conducted because it is the time where the cooperating


school head can tell what you need to do. Their rules and regulation
were also need to employ on you so that you are guided with it.
MY REFLECTIONS/ MY INSIGHTS

B. Am I really prepared to teach? Why? Why not?

 Honestly speaking, on the day we are oriented by the school head, I am not
really prepared to teach. I just bring myself and my backpack without any
school related materials. By when the time goes by, my heart felt that I want
to teach students, different kind of students.
