BAC Resolution Declaring Single Calculated Bid

Resolution No. 502-2015

Be it enacted by all members of the Bids & Awards Committee of the Municipality of Cagwait,
Province of Surigao del Sur, in session assembled;

WHEREAS, the Local Government Unit of Cagwait posted in a conspicuous place at the
premises of the Municipality of Cagwait and at the Philgeps website an Invitation to Bid for the
Supply, delivery and installation of programs/system for computerization of Real Property Units
and Real Property Tax Database System and Linkages under the Office of the Municipal
Assessor Continuing Appropriation with the Approved budget for the contract of P175,000.00;

WHEREAS, in response to the said posting, only one interested bidder purchased the bid
documents and submitted on October 15, 2015 which is GIZMO ETC. COMMERCIAL;

WHEREAS, to ascertain if all the documents required for eligibility, technical and
financial component are present, a preliminary examination of bids was conducted;

WHEREAS, a non-discretionary “pass/fail” criterion was used to determine compliance

to the requirements;

WHEREAS, after having passed the preliminary examination, a detailed bid evaluation
was conducted;
 WHEREAS, during detailed bid evaluation, GIZMO ETC. COMMERCIAL was found to
be the LOWEST CALCULATED BID;

NOW THEREFORE, We, the Members of the Bids and Awards Committee, hereby
RESOLVE as it is hereby RESOLVED:

a.) To declare GIZMO ETC. COMMERCIAL as a SINGLE CALCULATED BID after the
conduct of detailed evaluation of its bid proposals in the amount of P174,500.00; and

b.) To recommend for post qualification evaluation by the Technical Working Group.

RESOLVED, at the Mayor’s Conference Room, Office of the Mayor, Municipal Building,
Municipality of Cagwait, Poblacion, Cagwait, Surigao del Sur, this 16th day of October 2015.
