CDD Stitch

Tips
• The first row of the pattern can be a butt to knit. CO in a needle size or 2 larger can make knitting
it easier. Alternatively, you can purl the first row before starting row 1 of the stitch pattern.
• Nupps are also a butt. In the method outlined in the video above, it is much easier to work the
p5tog if you knit the increases loosely on the RS.
• Count often as it is easy to get off. If you are off, check the YO as they can get lost easily
especially around the nupp stitches.


Pattern

CO 75 sts. Work stitch pattern rows [1-18] Rep. last two rows until all sts have been
once. The pattern repeat is worked three times worked. BO (do not use a stretchy or loose
per row. Use stitch markers as necessary. BO. A regular BO works perfectly for this).

Short row shaping: Block swatch.

• K41, turn.
• P7, turn.
• K to 1 st before turning point, ssk, k5, turn.
• P to 1 st before turning point, p2tog, p5,
turn.
