PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
I am an Environmental Engineer/Specialist and Project Manager with over 15 years’ professional experience in the private,
public, and NGO sectors. This includes nine years in technical and or supervisory positions where I have managed project
teams and also actively worked as an environmental professional. Over the course of my career, I have provided services to
a diverse portfolio of clients – primarily within the infrastructure, resources, urban development and government sectors –
and this has included high-profile organizations such as Chevron Bangladesh Ltd, Santos, Tullow Oil Bangladesh Ltd,
ConocoPhillips, Shell (Gas Stations), World Bank, International Finance Corporation, Asian Development Bank, Government
of Bangladesh, Petrobangla, Alberta Municipal Affairs, and Calgary International Airport. I have written and delivered
numerous multifaceted environmental assessment (REA/IEE/EIA/SEA/SIA) and environmental engineering (site
remediation) reports/projects incorporating a range of disciplines including soil and water management, contaminated land &
site assessment, investigation and remediation (Phase I, II, III), and indoor air quality. I have been involved in
environmentally-based research projects in Canada and Bangladesh.

I also have significant project development experience and have led numerous planning, assessment and on-ground
projects from the tender / inception stage to final completion. Throughout my career, I have written and reviewed high quality
technical and financial proposals in water, environment, social, and resettlement sectors. As a Safeguard Services Manager
of SMEC Bangladesh, my job responsibilities allow me to participate in group’s business plan to develop winning strategies
and plans in assistance from the management. I hold a strong and proven track record with all employers and clients,
delivering on or beyond expectation.

Prior to commence my career as freelance Consultant, I was head of Safeguard Services Division of SMEC for seven years.
Prior to that I was employed by another engineering consultancy in Canada where I was occupied in investigation and
environmental and contamination assessment studies, environmental quality assessment, project documentation, site
supervision, and client liaison with government and non-government organizations.

features: The Client (CBEL) formalized a Production-Sharing Contract (PSC) with the Government of Bangladesh (GoB) through
Petrobangla to conduct a seismic survey and other exploration within the offshore PSC Blocks. The location of PSC Blocks is offshore
in the Bay of Bengal, more than 150km south-west of the south-east coast of Bangladesh. The objective of this project is to evaluate
the existence of potential hydrocarbon reserves within PSC Blocks. To this end, approximately 2,450 linear kilometers of 2D
seismic data is to be acquired. This information will be used to assess the potential viability of future exploration, development and

involved involves supervision and monitoring construction of embankment, roads, bridges, culverts etc. on rural roads under LGED in
the districts of Comilla, B.Baria, Chandpur, Narayangonj, Munshigoj, Narshingdi, Hobigonj, Moulavibazar, Sylhet and Sunamgonj of

system in assistance with senior environmental engineer. Wrote detail installation procedure and requirement of PVC liner/geo-textile
filter cloth of hydrocarbon vapor barrier system also supervised the site while installing the relieving system.
