DESCRIPTION
 Location: North Poblacion, Misamis
Oriental

 Built round 1920 -1922
 House was inspired by a Beaux Art
Architectural Design due to its pilasters.
The gracefull proportions and tasteful
details contribute to the quality aesthetic of
the house. The second floor has the
traditional sliding capiz windows with
balustrade ventanillas.
IMPORTANCE
 House has seen various transformations
through the different changes of political
times in Misamis Oriental.
 In the early times was the abode of Gregorio
Pelaez Sr. who was the paramount political
icon of Misamis Oriental, being the first
governor when Misamis Oriental was officially
deparated from Misamis Occidental.
 Became the house of Emmanuel Pelaez who
became the first Mindanawon elected in the
vice-presidency position of the Philippines.

‘Balayong’ materials and one is founf at the
back of the house.

 The house has a total of 8 rooms, 2 of

which are dedicated for guests.
