Coun. Bautista: Thank you. Your Honor, I have here a written motion, duly signed by the
honorable members of the Sanggunian Panlungsod, submitting therein proposed
amendments and the reason for such amendments, in our internal House Rules, hence
this DRAFT RESOLUTION, AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 9THCC-001 OTHERWISE
KNOWN AS ADOPTING THE HOUSE RULES OF THE SANGGUNIANG
PANLUNGSOD OF THE CITY OF SANTIAGO FOR THE 9TH CITY COUNCIL, AND
FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

It is essential to amend the current House Rule to harmonize the contemporaneous needs
of the Sangguniang Panlungsod of Santiago City. The proposed amendment will affect
particularly Sections 15 & 17 of Rule III RESOLUTION NO. 9THCC-001 OTHERWISE
KNOWN AS ADOPTING THE HOUSE RULES OF THE SANGGUNIANG
PANLUNGSOD OF THE CITY OF SANTIAGO FOR THE 9TH CITY COUNCIL.

So therefore Mr. Presiding Officer, with the unanimous accord of the Sangguniang
Panlungsod members, as reflected in our written MOTION, and the urgency of approving
the subject matter, I humbly submit myself for any question regarding this proposed
measure.
