HEADLINES in one minute or less)

Newscaster: HEADLINE OF THE TOP STORY AND LEAD IN (Say the headline of the biggest story
and then introduce/lead in to your field reporter #1 in 5 to 10 seconds)

Field Reporter #1: FIELD REPORT ABOUT THE TOP STORY (This should be at least one minute
long or about 180 words (if in English) and should end with a lead out to the newscaster.).

Newscaster: HEADLINE OF THE SECOND STORY AND LEAD IN (Say the headline of story and
then introduce/lead in to your field reporter #1 in 5 to 10 seconds)

Field Reporter #2: FIELD REPORT ABOUT THE SECOND STORY (This can be anywhere from 30
seconds to one minute. Minimum five sentences but maybe up to 10 sentences depending on the length
of time assigned to this story, and should end with a lead out to the newscaster.)

Newscaster: HEADLINE OF THE THIRD STORY AND LEAD IN (Say the headline of story and
then introduce/lead in to your field reporter #1 in 5 to 10 seconds)

seconds to one minute. Minimum five sentences but maybe up to 10 sentences depending on the length
