2. Role Purpose:
Working with Business Owners, the SAP Lead-FI/CO will be responsible for the design,
implementation and support of all aspects of the financial accounting and controlling
processes in our SAP environment. The successful candidate will possess a strong
combination of analytical and technical skills and will design best practice SAP solutions in
close collaboration with our business customers. Candidate must have in-depth configuration
and business processes knowledge of FI and CO modules in SAP and must be expert in
integrated processes and modules.
Desired Profile:
Minimum of 7-10 years’ experience with the SAP FICO module in a technical, and functional
advisory, role with at least four full life cycle implementations of SAP ECC (S/4 Hana-Simple
finance preferred).
Hands on configuration, design and architectural experience in AR/FSCM, GL and Fixed
Assets a must.
Must have functional and technical experience in other areas in SAP FICO – PCA including
Internal Orders, Account based COPA, Taxation and Banking interfaces.
Experience providing application functional support in designing interfaces between various
ERP systems. Experience designing processes related to banking interfaces and taxation
(including withholding taxes) a plus.
Extensive functional and technical experience in FICO master data, consolidation,
intercompany transactions, account determination, mapping of integrated transactions, and
the ability to drive the design of functional areas and profit centres.
Excellent in interacting with business and IT teams in the US, Europe, Japan and Asia.
Excellent verbal and written communications skills in English (Spanish a plus).
Knowledge and experience with SAP BW, ABAP programming, or Solution Manager
(SolMan) is a strong plus.
Global implementation and shared services experience is a strong plus.

services in SAP’s core and emerging applications, from business case development and
system design to configuration, testing and deployment.
Qualifications
• 4-10 years industry/consulting hand on work in SAP
• Full life cycle project implementation and configuration experience
• Experience/ Sound concepts in S4 HANA Finance and Central Finance
• Experience/Knowledge in FI:
o Functional and configuration knowledge of master data, GL, AP, AR, FSCM, Asset
accounting and Cash and Bank accounting, automatic payment programs, Lockbox.
o New GL, Document splitting and profit center accounting (PCA)
o Integration knowledge between FI and other logistics modules (e.g. MM, SD)
• Experience/Knowledge in CO
o SAP CO (Controlling) module especially product costing.
o Business processes/configuration around cost center planning, calculation of activity rates,
overhead accounting
o Core business processes in controlling module along with integration knowledge with PP,
COPA.
o Product cost planning and good understanding of MTS/MTO scenarios with Sale order
costing.
o COPA design, reporting based on costing based COPA. Account based COPA will be an
added advantage.
o Material ledger, actual costing is preferred. Transfer pricing concept is an added
advantage.
• Responding to user requirements, problem resolution, develop designs, and process
modeling
• Functional specifications and working with ABAP developers to complete object
development and testing
• Supporting period-end close and Year end close processes.
• Strong scoping/estimation, problem solving, troubleshooting and technical experience with
the ability to root cause application issues.
• Experience in Test case preparation, Unit testing, UAT support. Experience in 3rd party
tools preferred. (HPQC etc.)
• User requirements gathering, blueprinting & documentation designs.
