The belt thickener type BGT is a con-

tinuously operating machine for the
solids/liquid separation (predewatering)
of suspensions generated in production
processes or in waste water treatment
plants of the following industrial sec-
tors:

• municipal plants
• drinking water treatment plants
• breweries, beverage industry
• leakage processing

The belt thickener BGT achieves a high

volume reduction by a mechanical
thickening process, with the aim to
ensure an optimal operation of the
digestion tower and a reduction of dis-
posal costs.
High capture rate – liquid phase almost free of
solids, capture rate >98%.
The belt thickener is also used in indus-
trial production processes for the filtra-
tion of suspensions in order to achieve
a clear filtrate which is almost free of
solids.
Trouble-free operation – pollution-free level
control in the tank for thickened sludge.

High volume reduction – optimal drainage by
