On 7 February 2019 The Australian published a story written by s11C

Department of Home Atfairs, which contains advice from ASIO and the Australian
Border Force.

On 11 December 2018, a l\,ilinisterial submission was prepared by the Department of
Home Affairs to the l\rinister for lmmigration, Citazenship and lVulticultural Affairs
litled 'Advice on the operation of the transitory person amendments to the
Miscellaneous Measures Bil' (PDMS Reference Number MS18-0'10954). The
document and attachments were classified 'Protected Sensitive: Legal' and were
