Whooping cough
Whooping cough (also known as pertussis) is a bacterial infectionthat gets into your nose and
throat. It spreads very easily, but vaccineslike DTaP and Tdap can help prevent it in children and
adults.

2.Measles

Measles is a highly contagious infectious disease caused by the measles

virus.[3][10] Symptoms usually develop 10–12 days after exposure to an infected person and
last 7–10 days.[7][8] Initial symptoms typically include fever, often greater than 40 °C
(104 °F), cough, runny nose, and inflamed eyes.

3.Dengue Fever

Dengue fever is a mosquito-borne tropical disease caused by the dengue virus. Symptoms
typically begin three to fourteen days after infection. This may include a high fever,
headache, vomiting, muscle and joint pains, and a characteristic skin rash. Recovery
generally takes two to seven days.)
4. Yellow fever

Yellow fever is a viral disease of typically short duration. In most cases, symptoms
include fever, chills, loss of appetite, nausea, muscle pains particularly in the back,
and headaches. Symptoms typically improve within five days.[3] In about 15% of people,
within a day of improving the fever comes back, abdominal pain occurs, and liver damage
begins causing yellow skin.If this occurs, the risk of bleeding and kidney problems is
increased.

5. Diphtheria

Diphtheria is an infection caused by the bacterium Corynebacterium

diphtheriae.Diphtheria causes a thick covering in the back of the throat. It can lead to
difficulty breathing, heart failure, paralysis, and even death. CDC recommends vaccines for
infants, children, teens and adults to prevent diphtheria.
6. Laptospirosis

Leptospirosis is a bacterial disease that affects humans and animals. It is caused by bacteria
of the genus Leptospira. In humans, it can cause a wide range of symptoms, some of which
may be mistaken for other diseases. Some infected persons, however, may have no symptoms
at all.

7.Cholera

Cholera is an infection of the small intestine by some strains of the bacterium Vibrio
cholerae.Symptoms may range from none, to mild, to severe.[2] The classic symptom is large
amounts of watery diarrhea that lasts a few days. Vomiting and muscle cramps may also
occur. Diarrhea can be so severe that it leads within hours to
severe dehydration and electrolyte imbalance. This may result in sunken eyes, cold skin,
decreased skin elasticity, and wrinkling of the hands and feet.Dehydration can cause the skin
to turn bluish. Symptoms start two hours to five days after exposure.
8.Leprosy

Leprosy, also known as Hansen's disease (HD), is a long-term infection by

the bacteria Mycobacterium leprae or Mycobacterium lepromatosis.Initially, a person who is
infected does not have symptoms and typically remains this way for 5 to 20 years.Infection
can lead to damage of the nerves, respiratory tract, skin, and eyes. This damage may result in
a lack of ability to feel pain, which can lead to the loss of parts of extremities from repeated
injuries or infection due to unnoticed wounds. An infected person may also experience
weakness and poor eyesight.

9. Relapsing Fever

Relapsing fever is a recurring febrile disease caused by several species of the spirochete
Borrelia and transmitted by lice or ticks. Symptoms are recurrent febrile episodes with
headache, myalgia, and vomiting lasting 3 to 5 days, separated by intervals of apparent
recovery.

10. Viral Hepatitis

Viral hepatitis is liver inflammation due to a viral infection. It may present in acute form as a
recent infection with relatively rapid onset, or in chronic form.
