Conduct site inspection and ensure all electrical installation must comply with the design

specifications, as per drawings and as per applicable standard.

• Coordinate and prepare various documents such as test, inspection reports, excavation permits,
safety approval prior to implementation of work.
• To assist and coordinate with the sub-contractor, Supervisor staff to plan co-ordination and
control work activities in accordance with approved drawing work method / inspection &
specification requirement etc.,
• Verification of Inspection Readiness before issuing RFI
• Keeping the files/Inspection Records always updated
• Highlighting all discrepancies/anomaly detected during monitoring inspection and informing the
same to QC Manager.
• Initiate NCR as required in consultation with QC – Manager.
• Follow up of corrective and preventive action for NCR’s/CAR’s issued and verification of
effectiveness of the same.
• Taking immediate remedial to clear inspection log book comments
• Submitting daily report to QC-Manager at the end of each day of work.
• Sole responsible for all Quality Control Activities for the allotted area of discipline.
• Verification of materials supplied with that of material submittal
• Verification of proper functioning & utilization of measuring instruments.
• Supervise the work under as per specifications and standards.
• Study and analyze the design / sketch plan which include the materials breakdown given by the
client for execution of the project.
• Review Design and development of one line diagram, preparation of electrical equipment
specifications, identifying hazardous areas,
• Supervise group of engineer and draftsmen for the underground tunnel construction project.
• Review and updates engineering estimating data, costing parameter and drafting standard.
• Assist in the preparation of work plans, schedules, budgets, manning requirements and progress
reporting.
• Prepare cost and material estimates.
• Review and comments on engineering drawings, documents and reports.
• Conduct field investigation and dimensional checking.
• Operation and maintenance of grid station, Transformers, protection relays, timers, Switch
Gears, Panel Boards, Circuit Breakers, HT & LT transmission lines and electrical equipment, Electrical
motors A/C & D/C, Industrial trouble shooting & wiring
• Cable High Potential Test / Insulation Resistance Check/ Continuity Check
• Loop Checking, Commissioning & Trouble Shooting
• Maintenance works in turbines, electrical motors and accessories.
• Modification of the Panel Internal Wiring Connections as per site requirements.
• Trouble shooting and maintenance of electrical connections, accessories and installations /
equipments.
• Internal wiring of Panels.
• Participated in the Energy Activities of Sub-stations.
• Charging & Discharging Test; Cable Termination.
