ACKNOWLEDGEMENT

I am very thankful to Almighty Allah the most merciful and beneficent who

makes me able to complete my internship report. Successfully. I am grateful to

my parents and family members for their support, patience and encouragement

without which I would have never finished the report. I am also extremely

thankful to my supervisor Pro. Hamayun AIMS, who helped me greeting in

writing this report.

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

Habib Bank Limited is one of the oldest and largest commercial bank of Pakistan
According to International standards of Banking system, it is also one of the best
bank in south Asia Region as well Habib Bank limited was established in 1941
and now has an efficient network of branches throughout Pakistan. Habib Bank
Limited is providing different kinds of services and products to its customers and
has a large deposit base the main purpose of the study is to compare the
managerial knowledge in theory and practice, to work in real situation and to
improve communication and analytical skills. The report is composed of
communication skills. The report is composed of communication obtained from
interviews, observations and reference books, and reports etc.

Findings are as follow:

a. Habib Bank Limited has a problem in planning, as plans are made at


the top level, but lower level management do not understand them.

b. The employees are less enthusiastic and lack new ideas and insight.

c. Decision making is centralized.

d. There is no proper ways of promotion and compensation of the


employees.

e. Habib Bank Limited provides a wide variety of products and accounts


that suits the life style and needs of the masses.

f. As a trustee of the public funds, Habib Bank Limited has a greater


responsibility for safety and prudence.

g. Many business can enjoy some slack in their affairs, commercial banks
cannot afford this, since commercial banks must make a living by
putting the money at their disposal to work, they are faced wit the
problem of making a living wit jeopardizing the safety of their
institution at Habib Bank Limited is doing all this very efficiently.

RECOMMENDATIONS ARE AS FOLLOW

1. HBL must stick of their policy in long run.

2. Proper training programmes for all of the bank employees.

3. The competent authority must regularly supervise ATM Machines.

4. To concentrate more on innovation of new products.

5. Bank should carry out a market research programme.

6. Recruitment procedure should be made on the basis of merit.

7. Besides this Marketing Plan for Cash Management Services is being given
in order to improve the revenue and productivity of the bank.

8. Habib Bank Limited should also pay attention to the renovation of its
buildings and improving the internal environments of the branches.
