With great pleasure we would like to inform your good self that of Malaysia will be
organizing the 13th CK CLASSIC INTERNATIONAL OPEN TAEKWONDO
CHAMPIONSHIP 2019, from the 12-14 July and it will be held in Stadium
Malawati, Shah Alam, Selangor, Malaysia.
This championship is sanctioned by the National body Taekwondo Malaysia

(WTF). The following invited countries are Australia, New Zealand, Thailand,
Indonesia, Japan, Singapore, Indonesia, Kazakhstan, Cambodia, Nepal, Iran,
Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Burma, China, Yemen, Uzbekistan, Sri Lanka,
India, Philippines, and Papua New Guiney,
MALAYSIA is a country with many races and religions where Malays, Indians,
Chinese and many other ethnic groups live together in peace and harmony.
Our multiculturalism has made Malaysia a gastronomical paradise and home to
hundreds of colourful festivals.
We humbly invite your Taekwondo Organization to participate in this prestigious

event. It will be a good opportunity for your athletes to test their skills and excel
further in high standard competition like this.

2. VENUE Stadium Malawati Shah Alam, Selangor.
3. ORGANIZER CK Taekwondo Club (WTF) - Grand Master CK Karan
4. SUPPORTED BY TAEKWONDO MALAYSIA (WTF) & SPORTS MINISTRY.
5 COMPETITION RULES WTF system - using ESS & PSS System.

1. Only Junior & Open Category – semi final and final : PSS.
2. Participant can only compete in one weight category in
Kyorugi - 9-11 and cadet division.
Junior 15-17 category can take part in open category.

3. Participant can compete in both Kyorugi and Poomsae.
4. During weighing in please bring copy of ID.
5. Organizer will provide PSS trunk protector and electronic
headgear. Sensor socks and other protective equipment must be
own by the athlete. Sensor socks can be rented at RM50.
6. Coaches wearing casual clothes, shorts, jeans and slippers are
not allowed to coach.
7. Poomsae competitors can wear Kyorugi or Poomsae uniform
during contest.

CONTEST Full contact knockout elimination tournament comprising.
Kyorugi
18 years and above : Open 0pen - 3 rounds of 1 ½minutes each round and 45second rest
15–17 Years : Junior Junior - 3 rounds of 1 ½ minutes with 45seconds rest
12–14 Years : Cadet Cadet - 2 round of 1 ½ minute with 30second rest
9–11 Years : Super Junior Super junior - 2 round of 1 ½ minute with 30seconds rest

8. AWARD PRESENTATIONS
1- Overall Championship Trophy will be given to highest
Medal tally combined from all Age group in Kyorugi only.

9 PARTICIPATION A Country or club can register any number of players in the

same weight category.

10 ACCOMONDATION 3 Nights from 12th - 14th july are provided by the Organizer.
TRANSPORTATION Airport transfer to the hotel and from the Hotel to the airport
will be provided by the organizer.
12. PARTICIPATION FEES US$ 260.00 for each participant.

US$ 240.00 for official/coach/guardian.
ADDITIONAL US$ 25.00 if the juniors want to compete in senior
category or poomsae.
INDEMNITIES It shall be the responsibility of the participants from the

respective affiliates to have already validly completed the
participation forms and have them signed indemnifying the
Organizing Committee, its officials and other contestants from
any claims of injuries, losses, fatal or otherwise arising in the
course of participation in this championship or any other
13. activities therefore.
All participants below the age of 18 should be approved and
signed by parents/guardians.
It shall be the responsibility of the respective affiliates to ensure
that participants and officials are covered with effective
insurance coverage.
14. SPARRING EQUIPMENT The Organizer will not provide Protective equipment for ESS
such as:
Mouth guard, forearms and shins guard, Vest and Headgear is
compulsory and will not be provided by the Organizer.
