Administrative and HRD Director

His Reverence,

Good day! I am here to apply for the position of a Computed Tomography technologist. I was told by
many that this hospital is one of the best hospitals in the area, in terms of the benefits, the
experiences and the relationship between the employee and the employer which I became excited
about.

I graduated from St. Jude College of Manila, and took up my board exam last year, 2018 which I am
so grateful to pass. I had my Junior Internship Program at the Philippine Children Medical
Center(PCMC) that focuses on pediatric patients; I also had my Senior Internship Program at the
Philippine Orthopedic Center(POC) that focuses on patients with orthopaedic needs. These two
hospitals taught me different things. In my junior training, I learned to withstand patients that can
barely talk, that can barely react on anything. This also taught me how to be patient and control my
emotions towards the patients. Secondly, I learned in POC the different approaches in doing my job;
I have learned how to be strategically smart most especially when the patient is badly injured, I also
learned how to work under pressure during open surgeries. These knowledge that I acquired before
will be my foundation to be an efficient technologist.

Computed Tomography is one of the gold standards when it comes to diagnosing pathologies, and I
would be delighted to be part of the said department. I am open to more knowledge and I am eager to
learn more techniques and ideas that I can apply in the future.

There are just some conflicts that I need to settle in the near future. I have a nine-month-old son and I
am not yet married to my partner. We live under the same roof but the settlement of our marriage has
yet to be made for we are still waiting for my partner’s grandmother to come home from her job in
Switzerland. We have discussed about the plan and she requested to be on our wedding day and as
her favourite grandson, we have no excuse not to command her single wish. She is getting older and
as per Grandma, that’s her only wish after 10 years of not going back home. She is planning to go
back home probably next year when her employer permits her. In relation to this, I am requesting the
management to consider the delayed submission of my marriage certificate as one of the pre-
employment requirements.

I am grateful for your time and I am looking forward to work with your management!

Respectfully yours in Christ,

Josha Menneli S. Cataulin, RRT.
