PRPMA PERFORMING ARTS CLUB

A. VISION STATEMENT
The Performing Arts Club of Pascual Rivera Pimentel Memorial Academy envisions being a high
quality educational program for students in grades 7-12 that develops the whole person through a
curriculum that integrates the performing arts. We aim to develop the students academically,
artistically and socially so that they leave the school as independent, cooperative, responsible and
creative young adults with a lifelong interest and ability in learning and the arts.

B. MISSION STATEMENT

The mission of Performing Arts Club of Pascual Rivera Pimentel Memorial Academy is to
prepare 7-12th grade students who have strong personal interest in the arts to successfully pursue
higher learning and a profession in an ever-changing world. We will help students discover and
develop their unique skills and talents through an intense, integrated arts and academic program
with high standards that combines critical thinking and a whole-person developmental approach to
learning.

C. ORGANIZATIONAL GOALS AND OBJECTIVES

The main objectives in forming this group are:

1. To give students the opportunity to develop and enhance their talents in music.
2. To instill an awareness and liking towards the right type of music.
3. To acquire emotional sensitivity.
4. To awaken the sense of creativeness that will provide an avenue of self-depression.
5. To stimulate growth of character through cooperative effort, self- discipline,
responsibility, patience, attention to detail and desire for excellence.
6. To praise and thank the Lord through music.

D. ACTIVITIES

As regular activities, our students sing hymns at the school assembly and at the monthly first
Friday Mass in school. The club also performs at community and educational events.
PRPMA DANCE SQUAD

This is popular to students who have a great love for dancing. Creativity, proper
rhythm and correct body movements are needed by all members of this group. The
members learn to cooperate, develop confidence, and follow instructions. They perform
dance presentations in school related programs and activities.

PRPMA CAMPUS CHOIR

The PRPMA Campus Choir is a group of selected students from grades 7-12 who
have potential and interest in singing. The students are taught basic techniques in
singing both for individual and group performance they perform in various school
related activities such as Programs, and Eucharistic Celebration as well as outside
performances through special invitations.

E. OFFICIAL LOGO AND MEANING

The Logo of the PRPMA Performing Arts Club represents the Field of Entertainment like the World of
Music, Dances and Movie Scenes which the organization’s objective is to showcase and develop unique
skills and talents through an intense, integrated arts and academic program with high standards that
combines critical thinking and a whole-person developmental approach to learning.
