Hello Dear,
Hopefully you’re keeping well and enjoying your time here at the grand old
University of Glasgow. Alas with the nights setting in, the chill creeping round
and wee snivels simpering up to the back of lecture theatres, summer is all
away. I know how it is when deadlines and exams loom out of nowhere- you’ve
got no time- barnies start about how cold the flat’s allowed to be at night
and food turns from a relaxing break into just fuel for the machine.

I’d just like you to know, if things are getting on top of you, there’s a whole load of
activities and support available right here at the University. So to turn any winter
frowns around and help ease any worries there’s a rosy five day health ‘week’ of
activities to help you keep healthy and happy in these new cold climbs. Get a massage
or take a laughter class and feel good, because you’re a dear, really, you are.

Love,

Granny Health Week x

Stretch 2
Harmony
Up at the gym the youngsters run lots of
fitness workshops and sports classes and
training things week in, week out. For
Health Week, all of them will be free of
charge to give everyone a chance to see
how good they are. Stretch 2 Harmony is
one of the classes that takes place weekly
up there. The class improves flexibility,
posture and core stability - which sounds
especially useful for grannies. In just under
an hour the range of postures and exer-
cises should leave you feeling relaxed and
refreshed. It sounds excellent doesn’t it?
If bubble baths and biscuits aren’t doing
the trick, this could be just the ticket to get
you back to feeling just as brilliant as you
deserve to feel.
