Topic: Do you agree or disagree with the following statement: Death penalty
should be allowed in all countries?

The increase in crime around the world is a very big problem to deal
with. Some people think that death penalty should be implemented to stop it.
However, the most of people believe that it should not be allowed. I sincerely
think that governments should never allow that terrible law.

The commandments given for God are clear. Thou shalt not kill is the
fifth commandment. We cannot break this important rule because every life is
precious for our creator. Furthermore, you must love your neighbor as yourself.
This is one of the main commandments that our Lord gave us. Last but not least,
the first commandment says “Love your God above all things”. It is obvious that
by killing people we are ignoring the main commandment. We cannot decide
about others' lives. Therefore, I consider that humankind does not have the power
of decision about other lives in special if we are talking about killing them. Our
Father banned it and he wants all the best for us. We have to obey his
commandments.

It is not a solution. At first, that would not stop people from committing
crimes. To illustrate, in countries where that law was implemented people are still
committing crimes. Moreover, choosing an appropriate punishment will correct
them. Every person should have an opportunity to change their lives. We always
pray for an opportunity so it is unfair not to give them an opportunity to become
productive. Also, we would fall in the worst darkness as humans if all countries
decide to allow death penalty. Life is valuable and we do not have the power to
decide who lives and who dies. To sum up, I consider that allowing this law would
not be a solution and that choosing an appropriate punishment that enforces them
to change will be the best decision as humans to avoid to lose our souls.
 Teaching them to change their behavior is an alternative to consider.
Firstly, situations and decisions are different for every person. To illustrate, some
people have the bad luck of being raised in families where abuse rules and that
affect their behavior. Besides, governments should do something to help people
to deal with poverty. It is a fact that poverty contributes most of times to make
bad decisions. On top of that, every person can learn again and can forget the
past. Consequently, as humans we have to help them to change their thinking
that way they will be able to forget their past and how to be good people again.

All in all, I think that we cannot allow the implementation of that terrible
law because the commandments forbid it, not only is it not a solution but it can
lead us to total darkness as humanity. The best thing that we can do for helping
them to change their behavior is to teach them how to be good people again. I
am completely sure that humanity will never lose hope, because accepting that
terrible law is giving up before the evil of the world. Punishing assassins by killing
them only makes us murderers.
