C/P Intervention Description

1. Modeling, rehearsal,and feedback

A process wherein teachers model a skill, have the student
rehearse the skill, and provide direct feedback about the students’
performance.

2. Previewing A comprehension strategy that involves activating prior

knowledge, predicting, and setting a purpose in reviewing skills
and concepts central to the lesson to improve performance.

3. Structured academic tasks

A process wherein teachers require students to complete
specific tasks in a sequential order. Also includes cumulative
review with the mixing of different problem types.
