Teaching Dates & Time June 21, 2019 Quarter First (1st)

I. Objectives At the end of the lesson, the students are expected to be able to:
1. Illustrate the limit of a function using a table of values and the graph of the function.
2. Show eagerness in computing the table of values and in graphing.
A. Content Standards The learners demonstrate an understanding of the basic concepts of limit and continuity of a function
B. Performance Standards The learners shall be able to formulate and solve accurately real-life problems involving continuity of functions
C. Learning Competencies The learners
1. illustrate the limit of a function using a table of values and the graph of the function
II. Content Limits and Continuity

III. Learning Resources Materials: Chalk board

IV. Procedure The students will be asked a few questions in order to stir up their minds before the start of the actual discussion.
After which, the topic will be presented and the discussion will begin.
The students will be once in while called in order to solve problems on the board. The purpose of this is to know, whether or not, they are able to get the gist or
main idea of the lesson.
After the lesson, a summary of the things which transpired during the day will be done.

I. Objectives At the end of the session, the students are expected to be able to:
At the end of the session, the students should be able to:
1. Solve problems independently involving conversion of units and express their answers in the form of scientific notation.
2. Tell the difference between accuracy and precision.
3. Develop patience in solving problems.
A. Content Standards The learners demonstrate an understanding of...
The effect of instruments on measurements
B. Performance Standards The learners are able to...
Solve, using experimental and theoretical approaches, multi-concept, rich-context problems involving measurement, vectors, motions in 1D, 2D,
and 3D, Newton’s Laws, work, energy, center of mass, momentum, impulse, and collisions
C. Learning Competencies 1. Solve measurement problems involving conversion of units, expression of measurements in scientific notation
2. Differentiate accuracy from precision
II. Content 1. Units
2. Physical Quantities
III. Learning Resources Materials: Chalkboard

IV. Procedure Let the class do a short recap about the things which were discussed during the previous meeting.
Relate the things which was previously discussed to the topics to be presented during the day and start the lesson from there.
After discussing the concepts, the students will be divided into three groups and they will be tasked to solve problems in the board. The students will be rated both
individually and as a group. Each student will be asked to solve or answer a specific question and if s/he answers it correctly, then s/he will earn a point for her
recitation and a point for his/ her group as well. The group with the most number of points will be declared as the winner.
A wrap up of the things discussed will be conducted before the end of the days’ session.
