products, i.e. Mswipe QR codes across Bhubaneswar.
- To understand the level of Customer Expectation about Mswipe Technologies Limited through QR
codes
- To suggest the company other alternatives for better market penetration
- To interact with the clients in the market so as to have a better understanding about the market.

RESEARCH METHODOLOGY

The data has been collected majorly from primary sources for the qualitative and quantitative research in
order to study the primary objectives of the project.

Primary Sources:
- Direct interaction with the clients from the Retail Sector as well as the Service Sector.
- In depth interviews with business organization of both the sectors.

SAMPLING DESIGN

To study the level of awareness of online payment techniques of MswipeTechnologies Limited


product, i.e. QR codes across Bhubaneswar, majorly the sector that has been chosen is Retail Sector
and Service Sector. The whole research has been done by giving priority to the new clients or
customers rather than the prevailing customers in order to have a better study of brand awareness and
customer Expectation about Mswipe Technologies Limited.

The sampling method undertaken here to meet the objective of the study is Judgemental & Purposive

The research has been done by collecting data from 57 new customers, from both the Retail Sector
and Service Sector in Bhubaneswar.

LIMITATIONS
Sample size is little because of time and spending imperatives of the task and absence of
accessibility of the prerequisite of different organizations.

- The result may vary from spot to put, time to time and individual to individual as it is
completely founded on the investigation and the discoveries of the specialist.

- Some of the inquiries were left unfilled or filled in rush with false answers by the

Level of Brand awareness of Mswipe tech ltd in Odisha

Apart from expanding its existing line of mPOS terminals, the company is driving forward on
two new initiatives - smart POS terminals and UPI QR codes.
As UPI QR codes is a new product recently launched into the market it was found that the
knowledge about this product is close to minimum in the market.

Mswipe Technologies Private Limited, a point-of-sale network provider, said that it has raised $30
million in a Series E funding round from existing investors Falcon Edge, B Capital, Epiq Capital and
DSG Growth Partners. The company aims to have 1.5 million merchants on its platform by the end of
FY 2020. Apart from expanding its existing line of mPOS terminals, the company is driving forward on
two new initiatives – smart POS terminals and UPI QR codes. It would use the funding to deepen these
initiatives, which are already underway. Currently, the company has over 400,000 merchants on its
platform.

The best part of this solution is that all the transaction done through this will be credited immediately to the
User wallet and can be used in offering services to customers such as :-

2. Bill Payments (Gas/ Electricity / Water etc)
3. Buses (Tour and Travel Buses)
4. Flights booking both domestic and international.
5. Railways Tickets can also be booked
6. Funds can be used for Money Remittance
7. AePS / Micro ATM can withdraw cash and earn commission
8. PAN card applications.

With the recent face to face interaction with different business organization in the current market it
was found the prospects are very acceptable towards the new product as it solves many major
problem of payment through many ways like phone pay , paytm , Tez ect into one account which
makes easy to handle as per new clients.

Suggesting the company other alternatives for better market penetration


As UPI QR codes is a new initiative taken by Mswipe to enhance the activity of online payment,it has
proved to be a successful campaign across India . Mswipe plans to have 1.5 million merchants on its
platform by the end of 2019-20 financial year from the current base of over 400,000 merchants.
Hence according to the current scenario the Mswipe technology ltd is achieving its targets and does not have
to take any alternative measure

Work done during internship


The work done was basically interacting with various new customers finding there opinion of being
interested or not about installing the QR codes as a mode of transaction at their organization. The study done
was a web based and the method of sampling used was judgmental sampling. The interview done to the new
prospects during my period of internship was an unstructured interview with complete informal interaction
with the respondents
