The HAL Management Academy situated in Bengaluru is the nodal learning

and development center offering technology and management
development programs to various stakeholders in the Aerospace industry.
The Academy has tie ups with premier IIMs, IITs and other Institutes of
repute both in India and abroad to offer advanced customized programs
to meet the learning requirements of the participants.

HMA plays a key role in shaping the upcoming generation of Engineers and
Technocrats by giving exposure to the latest trends in Engineering,
Management and Industry. HMA has designed specific courses to meet the
requirements of faculty and students in the Engineering fraternity
blending advanced knowledge and Industry exposure to provide holistic
learning opportunities.

HMA has state-of-art classrooms, breakaway rooms, computer labs and

library. In addition, the campus houses the hostel accommodation, 800
seat state-of-the-art Auditorium, Sports block with Gymnasium,
Swimming pool etc. HMA provides residential learning opportunities for
Executives, Professionals and Trainees.

 ABOUT POST GRADUATE DIPLOMA IN AVIATION MANAGEMENT
The Indian Aviation Sector is ready for rapid growth, both in Military and Civil Domain. HMA with its vast
experience in Aerospace Industry offers the Post Graduate Diploma Program in Aviation Management
(PGDAM).

The Post Graduate Diploma in Aviation Management is a 15 months, full-time Executive Programme approved
by AICTE. The Programme is conducted at the HMA Campus, Doddanekkundi, Bengaluru.

The Programme is comprehensive in coverage of Aerospace field and Aviation Management with case studies
well-crafted and developed by the experienced Faculty of HAL Management Academy with deep insights
gained by HAL over 78 years.

Project Work is carried out by participants addressing key operational issues of the sponsoring organisation or
topic of interest of the participant, under the guidance of HMA faculty.

PROGRAMME HIGHLIGHTS
Aviation Industry Exposure Module

The Executives would be given Aviation Industry exposure at various

divisions of HAL (Design R&D Centres, Production Divisions, Flight Hangers,
MRO Divisions related to Helicopters, Aircrafts, Engines or Accessories).

International Immersion Module of two weeks

Visit to top Aviation Companies abroad.

Interaction with practicing Professionals with decades of

Aviation Industry experience.

ELIGIBILITY
Completed 3 years Graduation in Science/ Computer Science / Computer Application or Engineering with
minimum 50 % marks or equivalent CGPA awarded by any recognized University, in qualifying exams in
case of general category and minimum 45% marks for reserved category with 5 year work experience.

ADMISSION CRITERIA
Shortlisted candidates based on Education qualification and work experience would be invited for personal
Interview.

PROGRAMME FEES
Application Fee: INR. 500/- for Indian applicant; USD 20 for foreign applicant

Programme Fee Rs. 4,55,000 + applicable GST

Note: For residential participants, accommodation is available at HMA

hostel on chargeable basis.

Immersion Module 5100 Euros + Tax (applicable rates) per participant; Flight charges and food
Fee expenses abroad (towards non programme days) to be borne by the
participant

All fees are payable directly to HAL Management Academy. Payment can be made online
