INTRODUCTION:
The Revised Plumbing Code of the Philippines specifies the type of piping
materials that may be used for each plumbing system. Plumbing code bases of
selecting materials are the soil types, ground condition, local rainfall and frost
or freezing conditions. Consult the plumbing code to ensure that only code-
approve material is being used for plumbing system.
Pipe is a cylindrical tube used for conveying potable water, wastewater,
waterborne waste, and air from one location to another.
There are numerous kinds of pipes available for plumbing installation but
so far, the most popular and commonly used are:
Note: Refer to the Revised Plumbing Code of the Philippines found at the
learning resource area for the materials approve by the code.
