Abstract. Type your abstract here. The length of the abstract should be 150 – 200 words. The
abstract of the paper should clearly state the motivation for your research, the key goal of your
project and the methods (experimental and/or numerical) used in order to reach the goal. The
focus should be placed on the results, summarizing these in approximately 2 to 3 sentences.
1. General instructions
Use this template to prepare your paper. Please do not change the paper format, margins, fonts, styles,
text sizes, spacing or anything else. Use the predefined automatic section numbering. Please do not
add any headers, footers or page numbers to your paper; these will be added during the production
process at IOP Publishing.
The length of the paper should be 8 pages. Papers shorter than 6 pages cannot be accepted under
any circumstances. Papers longer than 8 pages can be accepted only in exceptional cases, after sending
a clearly reasoned request to the scientific committee and after approval of this request.
Figures and tables should be embedded in the paper, not supplied separately. Footnotes are
forbidden. Appendices are forbidden. Only SI units (not imperial units) should be used in the text.
Each paper should contain references to relevant literature. Authors should ensure that every
reference in the text appears in the list of references and vice versa. Indicate references by [1] or [2,3]
in the text. Examples of reference formatting are provided at the end of the template.
The paper should be submitted via conference webpage http://www. iidss
. org. Please submit both
MS Word file (.doc or .docx format) and PDF file (.pdf format).
2. A section of your paper
The first paragraph after a heading is not indented (Bodytext style).
Other paragraphs are indented (BodytextIndented style).
3. A subsection
Some text.
3.1.1. A subsubsection. The paragraph text follows on from the subsubsection heading but should not
be in italics.
4. Figures
Figures should be placed as close as possible to the first reference to them in the paper. Please ensure
that all the figures have sufficient resolution for highquality output. The following examples show
how to format a number of different figure/caption combinations. Note that the table borders are
shown as broken lines for guidance only. Hide table borders in your final manuscript.
5. Tables
Each table should have a caption. Following examples demonstrate how the tables should be
formatted.
Table 1. Countries and number of delegates present at previous IIDSS (Use Table AutoFormat Style
Classic 1 and Times New Roman, Regular, 10 pt for the table content)
Table 2. A slightly more complex table with a narrow caption.

the same width of your caption and the width of the table.
