Project Proposal: “Meet Your Garden”

I. RATIONALE

In this kind of activity, “Meet Your Garden Program” can increase the awareness of the
residences of Purok Maulawin in terms of treasuring environment. It shows the essence of
planting medicinal plants in a community because it plays an important role in a healthy lifestyle.
It serve as foundation to share information about the essential knowledge that it is a small action
but contributes in preventing common diseases. Plants do not grow merely to satisfy but serves
as reminder that it will help not only one but the whole community.

II. OBJECTIVES

 To impart the message about the importance of planting that can preserve the
environment
 To share knowledge and skill that can help the community for a life-long learning
about planting plants
 To initiate a community service that aims to serve an inspiration of promoting that
there is a lesson in planting small actions

III. PROJECT DURATION

First week of March to first week of May 2019.

Phase 1 Transporting all the materials March 7, 2019
and plants that are needed in
the activity
Phase 2 Clean and cultivate the soil. March 14, 2019
Add if it is needed.
Phase 3 When the soil is well- March 28, 2019
cultivated, begin planting.
Phase 4 Monitor and water it regularly April 25, 2019
Phase 5 Also, we can paint up the rock May 2, 2019
that surrounds the plan.

IV. IMPACT TO THE COMMUNITY

The program promotes preserving the environment in the community of Purok Maulawin
Barangay Isabang Lucena, City that makes beautification and serve an inspiration in sharing
lessons about the essence of planting. It promotes of cultivation and conservation of medicinal
plants that reflects that have disinfectant and provide soothing effect to the body. It is a
therapeutic agents as well as valuable raw material for manufacturing numerous traditional
medicinal practices to prevent some diseases.
