Flexing With Tarot
An Exercise in Adaptation

On the following pages, you will find a series of charts with each tarot card listed, and
then columns to the right of it. The purpose of this worksheet is for you to consider ways
in which you could flex your cards depending on the situation. For example, The Devil is
going to have a different flavour if the inquiry is about love, as opposed to, let’s say,
career growth.

The chart I’ve included contains 3 headings which are common themes and questions in
readings. If one or all of them do not resonate with you, feel free to scratch them out and
include your own topic. The ones I’ve chosen are Love, Career and Self-Development.
I’ve also included three keywords for each card to get you started, but feel free to
scribble in a few of your own as well! I haven’t distinguished between reversed and
upright, but rather considered the energy of the card as a whole.

Because this is a PDF file, you may want to print it out so you can make your own notes.
Another idea would be to use this as a template and simply transcribe it into your own
journal or notebook.

On the final page, I have provided 4 filled out examples to give you some ideas if you get
stuck! And if you want to learn more about this technique, please see my original blog
post for more details.

When you’re filling out each topic, you may want to approach it as such. Imagine a
seeker has come to you to as about _____ and you pul l_____ . What advice might you
