C=300pF/m, R=5Ω/m and G=0.01 S/m. Calculate the propagation constant and the
characteristic impedance of this line at 500 MHz. Recalculate these quantities in absence
of loss(R=G=0)

2. Show that the following T- model of a transmission line also yields the telegrapher

3. A certain coaxial line has a copper conductors with an inner conductor diameter of 1mm
and An outer conductor diameter of 3 mm. the dielectric filling has 𝜀𝑟 =2.8 with a loss

characteristic impedance and phase velocity.

4. a lossless transmission line of electrical length l=0.3 lambda is terminated with a complex
