INTRODUCTION
FASHION
 The world of fashion can be considered a reflection of the
rapid and continuous evolution of contemporary reality, of
its economic, cultural and social changes.
 In architectural terms- a spatial modulation of continuous
movement in time and space.
 With respect to innovations and inventions using flexible
and economic means. It demands creativity and flair of art
together with the technical knowledge base.
The fashion industry consists of four levels:
 The production of raw materials, principally fibres
and textiles but also leather and fur
 The production of fashion goods by designers,
manufacturers, contractors, and others
 Retail sales
 And various forms of advertising and promotion.

Purpose
 As it is necessary for the rapid growth of the newly formed
state and also helpful in the furtur development of the city
with respect to its tradition, culture etc..
 It would be helpful in providing fashion education which is
the most demanding factor of present day at national and
inter-national level.
AIM
 To design a fashion school institute according to the rapid
evolution of contemporary reality of its economic and
social changes in day to day life.
 To unite knowledge, as in an ideal campus, by creating
such spaces between people and academic disciplines,
giving it a theme, inuring to the regional context.
 To define distinct settings for social interaction and
strengthen the unity of the entire campus by the scale,

form, colour, texturee, light and other architectural
characteristics of the spaces.
 Create opportuneities for students and young artists to
develop their potential through study and performance.

OBJECTIVES
 Providing required minimum area of fashion field which
includes terms of fashion, fashion sources and fashion
cycle.
 To create an environment which is ecologically, culturally
and mentally suited for the absorption of the knowledge to
be perceived and to bring the inner self and talent to the
surface.
 The facilities and services offered to the students will allow
them the freedom to experiment and generate creative
ideas.

SCOPE

 Study and creation of spaces in an institution such that


they derive maximum benefit from the natural settings of
the site.
 The challenge would be to create a space and buildings
that would keep the glamorous image of fashion world but
at no cost would ignore the functional aspect of it.
 The building has to be symbolic of the professional stream
they are catering to which is very modern and forever
beaming with new ideas
