NOTICE OF ADMISSION AGAINST THE VACANT SEATS AT CNLU PATNA FOR

B.A., LL.B. (Hons.)/ B.B.A., LL.B. (Hons.) COURSE 2019-20
Candidates who appeared for CLAT-2019 for Admission and are willing to take admission to B.A., LL.B.
(Hons.) / B.B.A., LL.B. (Hons.) Course in our University against few vacant seats under the following
categories:

i. General Category (Only those candidates under General Category should apply whose All India
Rank is up to 3000 (Three Thousand)
ii. Backward Classes (BC-II) for Bihar Domicile only
iii. Extremely Backward Classes (EBC – I) for Bihar Domicile only
iv. Scheduled Caste (SC) for Bihar Domicile only
v. Specially Abled Person (SAP/PWD)

They are hereby directed to send the scanned copy (in JPEG format) of the Demand Draft (DD) of
`25,000/- (Rupees Twenty Five Thousand only) drawn on any scheduled bank in favour of THE
REGISTRAR, CHANAKYA NATIONAL LAW UNIVERSITY, PATNA payable at Patna along with the following
details through email to: admissioncnlu@gmail.com on or before 10th July, 2019.

Such candidates will be informed about probability of their admission, subject to vacancy and in order of
their All India Rank of CLAT 2019 results, latest by 13th July, 2019 through our website and they shall take
their admission in person on 18th July, 2019 between 11.00 am to 4.30 pm failing which they forfeit their
claim of the seat, if any, in the Academic Session 2019-20. Subsequent vacancies, if any, shall be filled in
by those candidates who have applied till 10th July, 2019.

At the time of admission, the candidates shall bring all original documents including the original
Demand Draft of `25,000/- and the DD for ` 1,81,000/- (remaining fees).

Please note that if the scanned copy of DD for `25,000/- of the candidate does not reach the office with

the above mentioned details on or before the due date, i.e., 10 July, 2019 the candidate shall not be
considered for admission. No further enquiry shall be entertained in this regard.

PLEASE DO NOT DEPOSIT THE MONEY IN THE ACCOUNT OF CHANAKYA NATIONAL LAW UNIVERSITY
NOR TRANSFER THE AMOUNT THROUGH RTGS/NIFT, etc. University shall not consider such candidates
for admission.

Merely sending the scanned copy of the DD does not guarantee the admission. In case of vacancy, only
after thorough verification of documents the candidate will be provisionally admitted. However, if any
document is found to be false or incorrect at any point of time, the admission shall stand cancelled
automatically.

The candidates whose admission is not confirmed till the closure of admission (last date of admission
will be notified on our website) are hereby directed to encash the DD from the issuing bank.

Documents required at the time of admission:-

1. School/College Leaving Certificate or Transfer Certificate (Original)

2. Migration Certificate (Original)
3. Character Certificate (Original) from the institution last attended indicating that he/she has never
been found guilty of misconduct during the study period.
4. Original Matriculation certificate or Mark Sheet where Date of Birth is clearly mentioned.

5. Mark Sheet of Matriculation (Attested photocopy and original for verification)
6. Mark Sheet of Intermediate (Attested photocopy and original for verification)
7. Medical Certificate of good health along with blood group.
8. Caste Certificate for the reserved category candidates only (Attested photocopy and original for
verification).
9. SAP certificate (Attested photocopy and original for verification, if applicable)
10. Eight Passport size photographs. (Four for submission in small envelope)
11. Four Self-addressed envelopes.
12. One Passport size photograph of the Local Guardian who shall be a near/close relative.
13. Admit Card of CLAT – 2019 (Original signed by the invigilator)
14. DD of `25,000/- drawn in favour of THE REGISTRAR, CHANAKYA NATIONAL LAW UNIVERSITY,
PATNA payable at Patna, scanned copy of which was sent to admissioncnlu@gmail.com and DD of
` 1,81,000 (remaining fee).
