This release contains support for new and updated file formats. There are updates for most
technologies that Analyzer supports, with changes falling under the following categories:
Platform improvements:
o Added a new feature for more easily exporting Maps into Reports.
o Added a new feature for applying an offset to a stream’s timestamps.
It is for use with time-based cross-stream synchronization.
Known issues:
o None.
Added support for setting the HTTP Web browsing attributes Web_Download_Time and
Web_1stHTTP_Access_Time.
Added support for setting YouTube streaming related attributes such as:
Streaming_Initial_Buffering_Time, Streaming_Service_to_first_buffering_time
Streaming_Total_VideoPlaying_Duration, Streaming_Total_Rebuffering_Time,
Streaming_Rebuffering_Rate, Streaming_Rebuffering_Rate,
Streaming_Video_Download_Time, and Streaming_Received_Bytes_Total
Added support for TEMS Investigation 18.1.2, TEMS pocket 16.3.1, TEMS Automatic 11.4
and TEMS Symphony 7.7.2.
Added support for the “EX Flex” device to set attributes from RSSI Channel Scan
Response.
Added support for setting LTE_UE_BLER_DL for the Samsung Exynos chipset. However,
the logs do not contain data for setting LTE_UE_TB_Size_Average_DL,
LTE_UE_TB_Size_Max_DL, and LTE_UE_FrameUsage_DL.
Added support for viewing L3 RRC, NAS and SIP protocol messages from the Samsung S7
device.
Improved the setting of time stamps for scenarios where GPS frames within a log file have
different time zone values. The abnormal GPS frames interfered badly on the event
detection.
Added support to decode and set data testing attributes for FTP upload, FTP download and
Ping.
Added support for setting Web_download_time for Transfer Status of "User Abort" and
"Partial Success” in addition to “Success”.
Resolved the problem that LTE scanner data was not being decoded.
Added support for decoding LTE PDCCH-PHICH Indication Report Version 26, LTE GM TX
Report Version 28, LTE ML1 PDSCH Stat Indication Version 32, LTE ML1 Idle Serving Cell
Meas Response Version 33, LTE ML1 DCI Information Report Version 34, LTE ML1 GM Tx
Report Version 33, LTE ML1 PDCCH-PHICH Indication Report Version 33, LTE Uplink PKT
Build Indication Version 32, and LTE LL1 Serving Cell FTL Results Version 102.
Improved LTE secondary cell activation event detection to identify which secondary cells
are activated.
A problem was resolved where R&S files were stuck in the status "Load Retry Limit
Exceeded".
Added support for Samsung Galaxy S5(SM-G900V) to set missing CDMA and EVDO
attributes.
Added support for setting attributes from testing of “App” such as OOKLA.
Added support to decode CDMA/EVDO messages and set attributes from the logs of
Samsung S5 CDMA phone.
Extended the range of SINR and CINR values to between -40dB to 60dB.
Removed rogue CPICH SC values that caused the Repository feature to crash.
2.11 Generic
3.1 Spotlight
Resolved an issue where batch sector plots were not working for a certain set of log files.
3.2 Cellref
Improved serving cell identification from network configuration data from cellref files in the
special cases of HetNets with indoor cells and small cells. Users can choose the typical
coverage of small cells or indoor cells in their networks by tweaking coverage reduction
factors in the Preferences dialog.
4.1 Map
Added a new feature for more easily exporting Maps into Reports. The feature is launched
from the context menu in the Map and automates the editing of the XML file that controls
how Maps and Legends are inserted into Reports.
Corrected a problem that caused the sample counts of a chosen attribute to differ between
the Map legend and a Workbook Report.
4.2 Repository
Resolved an issue of Analyzer crashing if template attributes (denoted at the end \d{1,5})
were included in the repository.
4.3 Other
Added a new feature for applying an offset to a stream’s timestamps, for use with time-
based cross-stream synchronization. In addition to being able to specify raw offsets, there
are also two algorithms for calculating the offset between two streams: MO/MT and GPS
co-location.
